Seriously! that's embarrasing given I visited Vegas in 1980!

Ok getting mixed up with Jacoby! he's in Arizona

Don't all these desert states look the same? Texas, Arizona and Nevada - tall cacti, pointy mountains and strange looking critters?

Yes and no. Nevada desert mainly has Joshua Trees. Arizona has tall Saguaro cactus. I mean that's how I often identify the two. But Nevada also has forest areas as well. But mostly it's a wasteland. That's why they set off nukes there.

But I have lived in the Pacific Northwest near Seattle for most of the time I have been on WP.

Texas varies a lot,big difference between where it borders with Louisiana and the panhandle. The hill country around Austin is well know for amazing wildflowers, Bluebonnets turn the ground blue with color.

Ahhh that sounds a lot like the Western Australian deserts where there are carpets of pink/blue everlastings (a kind of perrenial wildflower) following the first rains.

I oppose a Muslim ban. But I wouldn't mind banning all Christian denominations other than Lutherans, Episcopalians, and Unitarians. I even have more tolerance for Scientology than for Catholics and Southern Baptists.

Only white Christians are capable of being bigots.
