Speaking subjective truth isn't a legitimate shield to make attacks.

And why does there have to be all this talk of punishment and banning like kids being sent to the headmaster or expelled?

How about "certain posters" just not acting like wokezilla all the time? This isn't Woke Planet.

It's not a personal attack when it's an accurate description.

I can't go crying to moderation if I get called a socialist even if it's not 100% accurate and even if in some circles it's viewed as a pejorative because it's close enough to be reasonable.

Essentially the game here is to first ban fascist, then ban any other term that describes this part of the political spectrum on the insistence that's it's just a synonym but must be a personal attack and not just a term that describes a certain set of political views. Because the posters playing this game are so public it's unlikely to fool anyone. Best of luck though. Keep fighting the not-so-good fight.

The accuracy of the description is in the eye of the attacker.

This thread comes off as fighting for the right to attack people.

BTW that term is considered a personal attack here. Someone had that comment edited out of their post by a mod when they called Alex that.

There have been some really good left, liberal, progressive members here who held really good debates without making personal attacks or acting hostile. They simply came off as intellectual. Unfortunately they're mostly gone now.

I don't think you are a nazi. You are nothing above them unless you exemplify it however.

Reporting to mods and letting them deal with it is better than getting involved in arguments imo.

It is between the poster themselves (read the rules) and the mods whether the poster gets banned.

It isn't right for mods to blame non-mods. That's like a police officer seeing another police officer (giving the benefit of the doubt here) arresting someone and blaming the citizen who reports them. It's up to the police officer to make a professional decision. Yes being a mod isn't a job but it's a role (albeit a tough one) & it's the role of the mods to decide who gets banned, into trouble etc based on reports.

Also, on other sites it's honestly pretty apt.

NTs don't tend to communicate like we do.

A far right NT isn't going to come out in full swastika mode and say 'gas the Jews'. Not unless they want to get banned/troll. They will speak in more subtle, dog whistle language.

Most users on WP are autistic. We tend to 'tell it how it is' (how it is through our eyes anyway).

I feel like if someone did have extreme Nazi views on here, they would actively state such views. And if they did that, I would report it.

It is ok to warn other users against dog whistle language though. If they use it and you notice it, ask them who they're listening to/engaging with. I would hate for someone to be indoctrinated through such language, use such language themselves and be seen in the wider world as a 'Nazi' etc simply because they haven't seen through the dog whistle.

That's a new one. Wokezilla. There's lots of them around in real life.
