Yep. Trump is just as warlike and corporate as Obama was.

Is that what you are referring to?

Obama, two years ago during Trump's campaign:

During a PBS town hall that aired Wednesday, Obama referenced Trump's promise to bring back jobs to the United States when talking about manufacturing.

“Well, how exactly are you going to do that? What exactly are you going to do? There’s no answer to it," Obama said. "He just says, 'Well, I’m going to negotiate a better deal.' Well, what, how exactly are you going to negotiate that? What magic wand do you have? And usually the answer is, he doesn’t have an answer.”

Headlines today:

Manufacturing in U.S. Expands at Fastest Pace Since May 2004

U.S. factories expanded in February at the fastest rate since May 2004, indicating sustained strength in manufacturing as demand remains solid, figures from the Institute for Supply Management showed Thursday.

A lot of people don't care for Trump and his political beliefs. I don't like them myself but I've seen and dealt with much worse in my life. What is funny to me is how sheeplike people are around him, both his supporters and his opponents. Personally, I see Trump as a sissy. I don't think he's a very strong president; he's also just as cliched as the previous ones. He sure isn't very bright as far as politics go and I can't take him seriously as a businessman either. But, then again, the public voted for him so that says a lot about the voters if you ask me! :ninja:

We're living in an obscured single-party state. Republicans criticize Hillary over wars & encourage other wars. I just want any random hippie for prez.

How about patchouli intensity? Skill with beads? VW repair ability? Shamanic humility? Least possessions? Festival wristband count?

I wouldn't trust him and his power-hungry money-grubbing minions any further than I could throw a grand piano.

My mom and I have started a game/running joke about people or characters on television. We're always saying "Can they be president?"
For instance I've started watching Puss In Boots series on Netflix and he can be very dense and even cocky but it sure would be great if he was real and was president instead.

Speaking of cocky Kanye would even be better. Heck just nominate a rock. It would do a better job..at least it can't mess anything up.

a stopped analog clock would be better in that at least in theory it would be "correct" 2 times per day, which outperforms the correctness of the present POTUS.

OMG!! TRUMP IS A PSYCHO MADMAN WITH A NUCLEAR BUTTON AND HE WILL DESTROY THE PLANET!! ! ! ! !

Or maybe he won't:

Trump and North Korea's Kim Jong-un to meet 'as soon as possible'

North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has invited Donald Trump to meet him, an unprecedented overture which the US leader has said he will accept.

The shock announcement was made by senior South Korean officials in Washington, who passed on a letter from the North Korean leader.

They said Mr Kim had also agreed to halt nuclear and missile tests and was "committed to denuclearisation".

It appears to be a major breakthrough after months of threats and violence.

However analysts warn that such summits are usually the result of years of careful diplomacy so remain sceptical about what these rapidly arranged talks can achieve.

Mr Trump said the development was "great progress" but that sanctions will remain in place until a firm agreement is reached.

North Korea has not yet issued any official comment on the week's developments.

South Korean National security adviser Chung Eui-yong, speaking outside the White House after the meeting, said: "I told President Trump that at our meeting North Korean leader Kim Jong-un said he's committed to denuclearisation."

He added: "President Trump appreciated the briefing, and said he would meet Kim Jong-un by May to achieve permanent denuclearisation."

I didn't check the history, but these may be the highest-level peace talks since the Korean armistice more than 70 years ago.
