Here is the impact of legalized prostitution in Germany:

http://business.time.com/2013/06/18/ger ... the-world/

Prices have plummeted. Business is booming. Geezers, who would have sadly given up years ago, are enjoying the resurrection afforded by the new wonder drugs.

Apparently women are being trafficked from Romania and Bulgaria, which is highly unfortunate.

Quote:
....An English-language news site in Germany called The Local interviewed a 39-year-old man from Florida named Andrew about his brothel-frequenting habits. He said he originally visited Germany in his mid-20s because he was interested in the car culture and the history, but has since kept coming back three times annually because prostitution is legal and the prostitutes are so affordable. He even compared the marketplace for the world’s oldest profession to a discount grocery chain: "There’s a risk of being arrested in the U.S., but not here", he said. "And it’s cheaper. Germany is like Aldi for prostitutes. Twenty minutes with a woman in Frankfurt costs as little as €20 [$27]. This is more than enough time", he admitted.

Despite the critics’ claims of atrocious conditions brought on by legalized prostitution in Germany, there are many who don’t want to go back to the days when the trade was cordoned off in the black market. “Prostitution is still socially stigmatized, and that has not changed in the few years in which the law has been in effect,” Monika Lazar, a spokeswoman on women’s issues for the Alliance 90/Greens party, said, according to the Guardian. “But the law is helping to strengthen the position of prostitutes and ensuring women, and men, are much better protected.”...

Probably that's what America needs, to rescue our economy.

Another issue just occurred to me.

On the radio this morning, I heard about a Christian florist and a Christian photographer who were sued for refusing to provide flowers and photos for homosexual weddings.

Browsing through some of the Backpage.com escort advertisements, I noticed that some of the executive ejaculatory administrators specifically refused to accept Black clients.

If prostitution does become legal, then could an executive ejaculatory administrator be sued for refusing service to Black customers?

Well? What do the heartless advocates of chastity have to say to the Disabled who want a sex life?

Shall they take comfort in the Feminist slogan "Sex is Not an Entitlement!", or should they focus exclusively on prayer, meditation, and eventual entry into Heaven?

I say it should be legalized and regulated. Prostitution should only be permitted in licensed brothels and the prostitutes should be tested for STDs twice a month.

wow. its not surprising how big that bar is for guys that say yes. personally, chicks that get around are a turn off to me, prostitutes are so gross its funny. i wouldnt stick it in one even if they paid me but to each their own. if it were legalized, id imagine STDs would be an even bigger thing than it is now

Recent development:

http://news.yahoo.com/canadian-court-st ... 38329.html

Quote:
...Canada's highest court struck down the country's anti-prostitution laws Friday, a victory for sex workers who had argued that a ban on brothels and other measures made their profession more dangerous. The ruling drew criticism from the conservative government and religious leaders.

The court, ruling in a case brought by three women in the sex trade, struck down all three of Canada's prostitution-related laws: bans on keeping a brothel, making a living from prostitution, and street soliciting. The ruling won't take effect immediately, however, because the court gave Parliament a year to respond with new legislation, and said the existing laws would remain in place until then.

The decision threw the door open for a wide and complex debate on how Canada should regulate prostitution, which isn't in itself illegal in the country.

The court found that Canada's prostitution laws violated the guarantee to life, liberty and security of the person. For instance, it said the law prohibiting people from making a living from prostitution is too broad....

Can't go on a sex tour to Canada just yet: existing laws are in place for at least a year. After that, the border towns should be loads of fun. Image

By the way, I did have some co-workers who went to Toronto regularly for the strippers.

Whether you're disabled or not, sex is not an entitlement. If there's a woman who wants to sleep with you for friendship, love, or money, more power to you if you also want to sleep with her. But your desire for sex, however potent and however unmet, does not 'entitle' you to have sex with a woman who does not want to have sex with you, and I really don't understand why that is difficult to comprehend.

Well, you could have made the slogan more specific: "You're not entitled to have sex with anyone who is unwilling to have sex with you", or "thou shalt not rape."

Telling people that they're just not entitled to sex, period, sounds like a Feminist fatwah.

I'm a guy, but I do not think that legalizing prostitution was a good idea, firstly it is a sin and secondly it could to contribute to the exploitation of women besides profiting from someone else's prostitution is bad and most of the money goes to the pimps and criminals.

If prostitution is legal, then the money won't be going to criminals.

Fortunately, prostitution is illegal in my country.

It should be legal.

It's no different than selling any other service that doesn't harm anyone.

I'm unsure, but I think it's legal where I live.
