No I moved there a couple of years after. I know the paper mill in Tacoma smells really bad though.
The one in Camden polluted all the water with dioxin.You can’t eat the fish there if you are pregnant.
I think it’s closed now,it smelled like burnt cabbage to me.I hated it.You were suppose to drive thru a car wash when you left work to wash the stuff off otherwise your car got the paper mill cancer with the huge weird rust spots.
a local comedy team, "Torrance & Lemon" did a mid-60s musical parody of "The Aroma of Tacoma" sung to the tune of "yellow rose of texas"
