Yeah, IF that were true, it would be a lot more than select participants targeted.

That seems unlikely, SEALs are highly disciplined, 200+ rounds is 7 full M16 magazines, and those guys typically don't even run them in full auto. I do believe his death was more of an execution than a combat casualty, but again, that doesn't really jibe with riddled with bullets.

Just reporting what I read.

Supposedly the president was watching this happen in real time so like I said I believe he was caught alive, they pondered what they were going to do, and then they were ordered to execute him which why that video and those pictures can never be released. This idea that it make him more of martyr or that it create a wave of violence doesn't make sense to me, I think the truth is more important.

it's because your arguments are based on superstitious thinking. it's true there's no evidence collected of his death. there's also no evidence of unicorns, or the invisible teapot orbiting the moon either.

Look Fubu or Fufu or whatever the hell name you have, don't start crap with me or I'm going to turn you in just like you turned in everybody else! Now get out of my face!

You're a hypocrite. You reported him for far less than anything he said to you. You told me so.

What the hell are you talking about here? Anyone I have turned in I told them. The last one was Kraichgauer and I ended up retracting that one because I don't like turning people in. That's why I keep saying that I will turn people in and never do like a woos. Evidently, now I know what I'm dealing with and I'm going to have to change. Dox was right - turn them in and move on. It's too bad I have to resort to that. That's why I'm going back through this thread now.

Oh, no doubt, this is just one of those places where having a little specialized knowledge gives me an edge in deciding how credible a story sounds, that someone who is less familiar with military units and weapons might not have. It's like if you saw a new Kennedy assassination theory that conflicted with a lot of the information you had, you'd be more likely than an average person to be skeptical, just because you have better info on the whole subject.

Wasn't the guy on dialysis? It didn't say peritoneal, so how is he going to get around with a huge dialysis machine that he needed at least 3x's a week?

Eh, I don't like it either, but no one wins a pissing contest, and that's what these exchanges of insults amount to, pissing contests. I also learned that the mods can't be everywhere and tend to only see what's reported to them, and since I'm politically out of step with this board and an aggressive arguer, it was very important that I create a paper trail of people taking shots at me, so that when they later tried to get me in trouble, it was clear that they were far from innocent in the matter. I'll admit, I report a lot of borderline stuff simply to establish that certain posters are very aggressive and insulting, even if they don't quite cross the line, so that if they try to report people who counter-attack, the mods are already wise to them. I'm not saying report every snarky thing anyone says ever, but it doesn't hurt to have a working relationship with the mods, and to keep them appraised of serial flame baiters.

I think the guy was dead already (Bin Laden) and Mr.Aw was playing it for all he could.

I should start a conspiracy thread.

No, he wasn't already dead. Are you calling the SEAL team liars?

The guy was a millionaire; having a dialysis machine available to him was hardly unbelievable. And I suspect the possibility that had an autopsy been performed, they would have found he had had a kidney transplant.

Even if someone baits a person, that's not grounds for turning someone in just because your feelings are hurt. The only one that I thought needed to be turned in was that guy that said profanities to me. Otherwise no one should be turned in. If Mr. R. was banned, I hope it wasn't for life because that would be awful for him - he's been here a long time.
