Made me laugh. Even someone like Putin or Kim could say "I'm staying on until the new guy is in place" and not be technically incorrect. History has shown however (as with Tony Blair) once you make an announcement like that you are an instant lame duck. In May's case, however, I think lame duck would be a promotion.
I'm sure she's looking forward to a nice comfy seat in the House of Lords.

I doubt she'll get a peerage. She will either stay on as a backbencher until the next election or stand down as an MP as soon as she leaves Downing Street.

As for who will replace her, I fear it will be Boris. But honestly, none of the main contenders fill me with confidence so it might as well be him.

gonna get messier , with the eu cold-shouldering it, and indyref2 and welsh also chafing their hands .. and potentially a louder reaction from the corbynites.

You just completely ignored what I wrote. Parliament had already voted to leave without a deal!! ! ! ! !

I ignored it as it was factually incorrect. They have not voted to do that. They voted against no deal in parliament, same as they voted against revoking A50 and against a 2nd referendum.

They voted to leave with or without a deal on the 29th of March. It was enshrined in British law but International Law was used by May to stop us leaving. Which is absurd as it was International Law that Assange had the right to asylum. None of those votes changed British Law. You are clueless.

Why must you all use media insults to sidle with a mock house jury whose ears cannot be reached? The slaughterhouse insignia treaty is taking place at number 10, Downing street.

I am not interested in so called conspiracy theories anyway, or people trying to demonstrate their awareness of media political debates and highlighting news media coverage, already seen and heard, whether to be believed or not by the press or public. Distinguish the mad hype from the media coverage, is like a leaver trying to go Bremain, but going, ''Where's Nigel?'', in a foray of tidal wave Brexiteering.
The toning down approach of leaving the E.U, is.- let us all think, is, to Leave and not back out.
If the triage is to stay, then good luck to the backlash of ex-hypodermis royal Britannia cohorts.
Focus on tomorrows E.U result of the polls might raise a few eyebrows, but damn if new voters should be allowed the final say on a backlash of heated exchanges and suicide notes. I know whose head I'd like to see on a stick, and seeing as Guy Fawkes failed that mission, I'd say the impossible is about to happen, ten-four.
We'll be seeing more of you peeps on tomorrows grapevine, and new world exchanges. Ditto.

The speaker of the house reiterates yet again that running the clock down expecting a no deal brexit to just happen is not actually a thing

he has explained how the parliamentary process works plenty of times on this, yet there are still some people that believe if we just do nothing then come the end of October we somehow leave on no WA terms

Well, we know now that Boris is out of the running of the new line up of leadership campaigning so far; Hashtag:// ''We're trying to Leave!'' A news reporter claims ''Life Imprisonment'' for our patriotic friend, for misquoting some E.U numbers in a media campaign, some disgruntled member of the media has crow funded over 200,000 signatures to prosecute him.

Quote Boris -

''My chances of being PM are about as good as the chances of finding Elvis on Mars, or my being reincarnated as an olive.''

On that note, we need a new campaign, to ''Set Boris Free.''

He has now been summoned to court in person over 'knowingly misleading the electorate'

Really not sure he will be found guilty tbh, but honesty in politics should be something we all want. Probably just best to wait and see what the judges decision is.

I still have a feeling Gove will land the top job

Some people will try anything to get rid of the problem. So what if he lied? It was helping to bring an incongruous problem to the fore, and now people want to punish him instead. Oh well,.. I hope the judge is lenient, no one blamed Farage, the most he got is a milkshake chucked over him.

Dominic Raab's Leadership Pledge. Hmm, with only two other signatures, could be a false coo.
