Recently, the central government has mentioned guaranteeing two days off a week and raising wages, and I saw some videos talking about Trump that analyzed that a complete decoupling of the Chinese and American economies would lead to an increase in Chinese workers’ wages. I hope so.

Modern evangelical Christianity seems to be all about having a parasocial relationship with one's imaginary vision of a dead guy.

I wonder how many of the homophobic men within that community realize how they've made simping over a dead dude so integral to their identities.

"People can't imagine what they haven't seen"
In 2021, some people accused China of having slaves picking cotton. The fact is that there are no slaves. This is a bad thing that is common in the United States but rare in China.
But China has a unique bad thing: excessive labor among blue-collar and white-collar workers because of the fictitious labor law. If the international community had supervised the implementation of China's labor law at that time, it might have successfully stopped China's development.
But it's too late to realize this now. After efforts from 2020 to now, China has basically achieved independence from foreign markets. From my perspective, the international community missed the opportunity to hinder China.

Conservatives don't really care about consent because they believe all sex is bad. When you understand this fundamental, it's a lot easier to understand the "logic" behind most of the positions they take related to sex.

The doomsday clock is closer to midnight than it's ever been, but that doesn't really make a lot of sense when the Cuban Missile Crisis happened in the 60s.

I already questioned the idea of psychological needs and overall people's idea of what being a human even is.

Found too few of it. Many are either prominently in philosophical discussions or related to spirituality practices related to the mind and beliefs.

It was not talked about at large.
And rarely ever practiced in real life, let alone embody it -- than some intellectual pursuit or some idealized mental fancyism.

For example; as much as humans wants others to see themselves as humans, it's rarely ever that humans sees humans as humans.

No, they see traits, relatedness and whatever vibe they're giving off.
Traits are merely things one has or doesn't have, in which value is relative.
Relatedness is how much they see themselves in that person and whatever they're projecting.

And vibes?? It's basically their whatever implicit instincts are telling them if their mental biases ain't enough to do the work for them.

They don't see humanity as an entirety, they see stories and narratives.

The clock is adjusted annually. No one expected the Cuban Missile Crisis but because it happened in the middle of the year and resolved within days, it was never taken into account. It should be adjusted monthly.

I want to figure out what religious homeschool books I used when I was a kid and potentially buy them. My mom doesn’t remember. I know she got them out of old homeschool catalogs. My fourth grade math book had a Bible scripture on every page. I remember a word problem like: if Jesus gives 4 of his apostles on apple, what fraction of his apostles have an apple? That’s how I learned fractions. I didn’t get much further than fractions when I “graduated” high school.

If Jesus has five loaves and two fishes, how can he divide them by 5,000 with a remainder of 12 basketfuls?

Please show your working.

Now that you mention it, I’m pretty sure there was a division problem about that very thing. I was hopeless about teaching myself division, though. Not even Jesus could help me. :(

Maybe Jesus was so busy at Walmart he couldn’t spare any time helping me with division.

Turns out, Jesus just ain't very good at math.
Which means your struggles with division actually make you Christ-like. :nerdy:

Yeah, I guess that’s true.

I wonder how much math the historical Jesus knew if there was such a person. :chin:

I loved math once I got to college, but it never stayed in my head very well, perhaps because I lacked the drills and repetition most people get every year when they are young. Some years I devoted no more than a couple weeks to math. Maybe I should use an app or something as an adult learner.

Trump says he wants to be the Pope and has thrown his hat in the ring for it.

Dear Lord, please squash that man with your middle finger either metaphorically or literally, PLEASE?! !!
