Hohohohoho. Anarchy.

MAY be possible, but only when everyone is intelligent, educated, and compassionate enough to work in cooperation. It sounds all nice and fun, but it is far from possible at the moment. It's naive to think that anarchist societies are possible at this age, and even then, there are assumptions about human nature which are uncertain. The world still needs law, order, and government, and will continue to for at least another two centuries, maybe more. Humanity is still far from mature enough for this to happen.
However, maybe with massively increasing knowledge which is free to access, good. stable living standards which are only possible with a more stable, possibly more mixed economic system, and the elimination of disease, poverty, genetic modification, and full literacy, this will become even more of a possibility.
Perhaps it will not happen. Perhaps the only real difference will be technological. Never has the future of the world had so many imaginable possibilities. It could twist in so many different ways.

The point was showing your exceedingly poor programming skills? And you really got distinctions for those apps? Look at the people sitting around you in your classroom. Are they:

  • Flapping their hands?
  • Using safety pencils?
  • Hyperextending their arms and fingers?

If so, and it seems likely considering how low your school's standards are, you may want to consider transferring to a 'normal' school for a greater challenge. (But only if you can handle the heavier course load of course.)

No. The point was that my awful code is better than your awful intelligence. You have got to be the dumbest person on the planet.

chever wrote:

  • This was 3 years ago, I passed the whole course with a Triple Merit.
  • It was college not school.
  • I never saw you anywhere.
  • The course was Software Development, which entails: -
    • Gathering requirements for the proposed business solution
    • Analyzing the problem
    • Devising a plan or design for the software-based solution
    • Implementation (coding) of the software
    • Testing the software
    • Deployment
    • Maintenance and bug fixing
  • And thus more about the paperwork, not the app.

I don't think deliberately writing a poor app to get better grades counts as incompetant. [sarcasm]Sorry to f**k up your quest, dude.[/sarcasm]

Dumb people don't learn Lisp. Dumb people brag about how easy and unfulfilling technical careers are (while making it clear as day they aren't cut out for the same), make insensitive comments about people of other ethnicities, and then flood the board with pictures from /b/, obnoxiously breaking up the page layout in doing so. And then jerk it to loli porn for the rest of the afternoon.

And before you jump on my balls for making insensitive comments about English people, I should point out that it's not exactly an 'other ethnicity' in this case. For I have a little in me, too. But more Irish. You can tell by my full set of teeth, the reddish tinge to my beard, and the fact that Thai people don't run screaming away from me by default.

That's what we call a 'BS class' here.

And I don't buy your excuse for sucking either.

All this nastiness from someone who attends a Pentecostal church and claims to believe in Jesus. Tsk, tsk...

Yes, humanity has been bred and programmed to be sheep.. and most people will sign their life away without reading the documents.. people really are uneducated and gullible. Maturity is a big factor as well, we have lived for thousands of years letting someone else make our major decisions.. (well, our ancestors and so on).

By your own admission, you are a racist bigoted sociopath with no life outside of this forum and that nothing you are saying is true anyway. You are also continously proving my points for me.

That's pretty stupid, by any definition of the word.

It's okay to fight but you are all getting a little too personal and it's not funny anymore, it's just sad.

I'll stop butting and playing the polly anna role in just a minute.

The system that we were talking about would eliminate the need to misdirect aggression through wars.
Has anyone looked into the Bonobo idea yet?
Remember?

If you haven't been paying attention, then reread Accelerators post.

It's good to fight though. Maybe you should take up a wrestling class or boxing or something. How about try out for a football team?
I'm serious and I'm not being sarcastic. Or, maybe get a nice girlfriend to have sex with on a daily basis. Sex and Aggression release the same chemicals in the brain. I'll butt out again...

Lol..

I think anarchy is good, because the government is afraid of it.. just like they are afraid of hemp, because it causes people to rebel.. "but rebel against what?" -Bob Marley.

I dont recommend sports.. there is nothing worldly or intellectual about it.. lift a few weights or run around, and stay in shape... ugh, sports are so lame. And pointless..

To paraphrase Henri Poincaré, a programming language is a collection of facts. But a collection of facts is no more a programming language than a pile of stones is a house.

There's a lot more to programming than rote memorization. Since you don't know how to do it well, this must come as a surprise, but, especially with applicative languages such as Lisp, there's a lot of abstraction and theoretical content you have to master in order to program efficiently (i.e. not copy and paste to build up an ugly switch/case statement).

Who here is a fan of anarchy? I mean it in the most peaceful sense. I for one would be more than humbled to bow down to a rightful leader, but as of yet, I do not see any worthy alpha male in the US government. Obama has his head in the clouds, but he is a great speaker in my opinion. Where are all the leaders? Our government is run by greedy wasps! All the men who I like are just pansy ass pusses. Why can't a strong male figure rise above this propaganda and lay the truth out before us without being so wimpy?

If anyone can rise against the establishment, it must come from an aspie who has nothing to lose. It's unrealistic for a woman to do it at this point in time. Why are liberals so weak and sentimental, so scared of being outcasts?

If you laugh, go alone and cry. I'm not looking for popular opinion but just one who recognizes the importance of political reformation.
Is there one man out there who wants to see a change in the upcoming NWO?

I oppose anarchy for a very simple reason Magnus. Under anarchy, there are no rules set in place and people can do whatever they feel like. Under anarchy, I could steal whatever I want, kill anyone who gets in my way, and do as I please without anyone holding me accountable for my behavior. Of course, because I'm a Christian, I would never do these things, but if anarchy existed, no one would be safe. Thugs and criminals could do whatever they wanted, and people who were previously restricted by laws would do exactly as they pleased. Read Lord of the Flies, and you'll understand how dangerous anarchy is.

The government was established to make sure that people's rights are protected, that people are justly compensated for their damages, and that there would be peace and rules/regulations to live by. Our government is by no means perfect, but if you look at the rest of the world and their governments, ours works much better. Yes, there are greedy politicians, and politics turn people against each other, but there are no wars going on in America because we have a balance of powers between the Executive (President), Judicial (Courts), and Legislative branches. I disagree with the War in Iraq, I do think that Bush greatly misused his power, but since we're there, we may as well make the best of it.

As for your idea of a dominant leader in the government, that is a scary thought, sounds like an anti-christ like figure. After winning the Reveloutionary War, Thomas Jefferson and Anti-Federalists wanted to make sure that no one like King George III would take over the new formation of the United States of America and that people would be in control of the government. The Federalists, including John Adams, George Washington, and Alexander Hamilton, wanted the government to have more power and influence on the people, and it would be more than likely under a federalist government that the President could become more of a king figure. I don't want a monarchy, I want a democracy and a republic where people control the government, not one person becoming so powerful that they override the system.

Our founding fathers were anarchists. They rebelled because they didn't want to pay all the British taxes.

Begin at the beginning and rethink what you said AutisticMalcontent. It's quite entertaining if you have time to read it all.

And Chever, go sit in the corner and think about what you just said.

Or, let's just change the subject altogether and use this thread for disorderly ranting.

They obviously weren't anarchists, because they formed two new governments after they threw off the British yoke, the latter of which was necessarily stronger than the first.
