OK, how about the likes of noisy bigots like UK Feminista or Object? They believe that prostitution should be outlawed (and that all prostitutes are victims), that lap dancing clubs should be closed and that top-shelf magazines should be banned. They have alledgedly attacked and abused female sex workers in the past, according to this interview by MoronWatch:

For starters.

(Notice, also, that these groups seem to have a definite alliance with religiously conservative people about them too.)

Ok, but I was asking for an example that represented the specific argument you stated above.

But since we're back to anti-prostitution and all that, I still regard them as feminists, even if I find their views ridiculous. After all, they are fighting prostitution exactly because they have women's rights in their interest.

And let's be honest, prostitution has been a form of slavery for a lot of these prostitute women. I'm not surprised some feminists are fighting against prostitution, even if I disagree with how they overgeneralize things and jump to the conclusion that the act of providing sexual favors for money is a bad thing on its own and something to be fought against.

I hardly think you'll end up with feminist organisations literally saying they want to put women in a cage - that would give the game away, after all. I was exaggerating.

It goes further than that. They're anti-'sexualisation' (whatever that is), they believe that lapdancing clubs should be closed (even though there's no evidence that they harm women in and of themselves) and they want all top-shelf magazines removed, even if they're very tame. They completely ignore the women who actually work in these industries that loudly contradict them and, as can be heard in the interview, abuse and threaten violence towards some prostitutes that don't toe the line.

Not all prostitutes get into prostitution for the right reasons, but that doesn't mean that prostitution itself should be illegal, any more than alcohol or drugs should be illegal because some abuse it.

No, it isn't anti-sex.

Feminists are against sex with ugly, badly-dressed, or boring men, just like all other women (and straight men with respect to women). What about this is so hard to comprehend?

That "alpha" thing is just made up by Americans who believe that anyone can be anything. That is not true. 99% of female (and male) behavior in selecting a mate has to do with three things: physical appearance, fashion sense, and body language. Preferring someone who respects women's rights is not exclusive of choosing a mate on the basis of physical appearance, fashion sense, and body language.

That's not always true. I have personal experience - gleaned today - that contradicts your theory.

Not all women are equally desirable, so it would be expected that not all women could score with the most desirable men. Some may have to compromise.

Egalitarianism is a dumb American idea.

If you use this line on a Feminist:

A Strident Feminist wrote:
Hey, let's go somewhere private and engage in a mutually pleasurable activity together.

and she refuses, then you have a basis for accusing her of inegalitarianism. You could go to your local NOW office and write her up. Particularly if you are obviously fat, ugly, stinky, bald, badly dressed, boring, of a different race, or of the same race.

In the same way that the KKK has a focus on black people's rights...

No, the focus is on suppressing those rights. That's their expressed motive.

As opposed to the "feminist" religious zealots who retain that as their concealed motive?

Which isn't the same as being anti-sex.

Do you really need to announce that people don't want to sleep with people who they aren't attracted to as though it were some major epiphany?

It never seemed to matter to men how badly dressed I was,I never thought they were that interested in my clothes anyway.Because then, they would be gay.

No, it's not. That was my point. I think we're probably more in agreement than not.

It does sound like it's a concept certain male individuals on this thread cannot comprehend, so it may be an epiphany for some.

I see now what you meant. Thanks for clarifying.

No, just ugly men. Pretty sure conservative chicks are against that too, however.
