The guy was a millionaire; having a dialysis machine available to him was hardly unbelievable. And I suspect the possibility that had an autopsy been performed, they would have found he had had a kidney transplant.

My point was that he couldn't just pick up and run at all times. Dialysis is usually 3-4 hours 3x's a week. Wasn't he supposedly always on the run? After dialysis the person is usually wiped out for several hours.

You think he had a kidney transplant?

Everything about Bin Laden's death doesn't seem right to me, I thought it smelled the night it happened. Executed, riddled with bullets, killed somewhere else, killed at different time, completely faked, who knows. The fact that bulk of Seal Team Six is dead now sets off some alarms I think.

Am I the only one that wanted to bring Bin Laden back to America to stand trial? Imagine all the valuable intelligence he could of had, it just doesn't make sense to me. I think taking the guy that did you wrong prisoner would of been more humiliating and made him less of a martyr, I suppose the information he had might of been something they didn't want the American people to hear.

Watch out, you'll be called Mr. Conspiracy Theorist.
Again, we never saw a body. You'd think that Mr. Aw would want to show some evidence along with his bragging. But, I guess we're just supposed to accept whatever the King said he did. Bin Laden - check, Scalia - check. Line then up and shoot them down cause that's the Chicago way.

I should start a conspiracy thread.

No, he wasn't already dead. Are you calling the SEAL team liars?

The Seals do what they are told and they follow orders from Mr. Aw. They were told to stand down in Benghazi and they did.

Why should Bin Laden be any different?

It's about the extreme unlikelihood of a fat old man dying in his sleep. Must be the killer n****r in the white house.

Nowt wrong with theorising about conspiracies. They certainly happen. Some thirteen years ago the UK Government conspired to lie to the public and parliament to take the country to war in Iraq.

The problem is proving them. By their nature, proof will be hard to come by. The further problem is thinking that the difficulty proving the conspiracy true is because of a 'cover up' that is in itself proof of the conspiracy.

It may be impossible to prove a conspiracy because of a cover up. It may also be because the conspiracy didn't happen. From 'Orthodoxy', by GK Chesteron (to be clear, I am not suggesting anyone here is, as GK has it, a 'lunatic'. I am using the passage for illustrative purposes):

Every one who has had the misfortune to talk with people in the heart or on the edge of mental disorder, knows that their most sinister quality is a horrible clarity of detail; a connecting of one thing with another in a map more elaborate than a maze. If you argue with a madman, it is extremely probable that you will get the worst of it; for in many ways his mind moves all the quicker for not being delayed by the things that go with good judgment. He is not hampered by a sense of humour or by charity, or by the dumb certainties of experience. He is the more logical for losing certain sane affections. Indeed, the common phrase for insanity is in this respect a misleading one. The madman is not the man who has lost his reason. The madman is the man who has lost everything except his reason.

The madman's explanation of a thing is always complete, and often in a purely rational sense satisfactory. Or, to speak more strictly, the insane explanation, if not conclusive, is at least unanswerable; this may be observed specially in the two or three commonest kinds of madness. If a man says (for instance) that men have a conspiracy against him, you cannot dispute it except by saying that all the men deny that they are conspirators; which is exactly what conspirators would do. His explanation covers the facts as much as yours. Or if a man says that he is the rightful King of England, it is no complete answer to say that the existing authorities call him mad; for if he were King of England that might be the wisest thing for the existing authorities to do. Or if a man says that he is Jesus Christ, it is no answer to tell him that the world denies his divinity; for the world denied Christ's.

Nevertheless he is wrong. But if we attempt to trace his error in exact terms, we shall not find it quite so easy as we had supposed. Perhaps the nearest we can get to expressing it is to say this: that his mind moves in a perfect but narrow circle. A small circle is quite as infinite as a large circle; but, though it is quite as infinite, it is not so large. In the same way the insane explanation is quite as complete as the sane one, but it is not so large. A bullet is quite as round as the world, but it is not the world. There is such a thing as a narrow universality; there is such a thing as a small and cramped eternity; you may see it in many modern religions. Now, speaking quite externally and empirically, we may say that the strongest and most unmistakable MARK of madness is this combination between a logical completeness and a spiritual contraction. The lunatic's theory explains a large number of things, but it does not explain them in a large way. I mean that if you or I were dealing with a mind that was growing morbid, we should be chiefly concerned not so much to give it arguments as to give it air, to convince it that there was something cleaner and cooler outside the suffocation of a single argument.

I think you are wrong to say nobody who declares conspiracies is a little off. Those who do this are a little off. Some more so...

I don't think I quite said that. I said I don't think there is anything wrong in considering - theorising - a conspiracy may have taken place. There have been conspiracies that were shown to be so.

I do think it's a problem where the first thing that is reached for after any event is a conspiracy theory, or there is an attempt to slot any event into a larger conspiracy. A sort of paranoid Theory of Everything. And as I said, when the lack of evidence is itself taken to be evidence.

Being a little off myself, I hold no ill will against the little off qua little off.

The thing was, he wasn't always on the run. He was being hidden away, almost certainly by Pakistani Intelligence, which has been thoroughly infiltrated by Muslim fanatics. He probably had spent all those years in that compound where the SEALS shot him to death.
As for a kidney transplant - even in the third world, if you're a millionaire, such a thing isn't outside the realm of possibility.
And no, I'm not going to call our servicemen liars just for the sake of a conspiracy theory based on hate of the current President. Nor should you.

yea i see no conspiracy here.there is also the courtney killed curt conspiracy.but at the scene where curt cobain died there were no signs of a struggle.the conspiracy hinges on the belief that he was on to much heroin to have been able to kill himself,in other words they say he had so much heroin that it was OD perportions that would not allowed him time to pull the trigger.
if a couple or a few dudes tried to inject you with an OD of heroin would you not try to resist, but there was no sign of any struggle at the suicide scene, no evidence curt resisted
most conspirscy theory are bunk
