Campin Cat in 1994 the USA decided not the intervene in Rwanda. The end result a million Tutsis and moderate Hutus died in a small African country. Don't criticize the US you say.

In the late 1990s and early 2000s Rwanda waged a massive war against the Congo over mineral resources e.g. coltan which could only be obtained in the Congo. This was a key component in digital technology in the modern world. The USA's demand for this resource ended up perpetuating conflict, Rwanda wanted to continue waging the war as a way to gain profit. Don't criticize the US you say.

In the 1980s, US chemical weapons companies gave Saddam Hussein the resources he needed to create genocide against the Kurds. The Reagan administration even gave Iraq millions of supplies to an oppressive regime that was perpetuating conflict and genocide. When the gassing on the Kurds did take place, US media dismissed it as Iranian allegations. When truth was shed on what happened, the Reagan administration refused to take any measures e.g. implement sanctions to oppose Saddam.

Don't criticize the US you say.

Can we stop the bullcrap seriously. Why not hold a nation accountable for their actions?

Again, with Rwanda (and now, Saddam Hussein)? Sure, hold a nation accountable for its actions, AT THE TIME----but, what does rehashing it, decades later, do? It's like you're bashing us peons over the head with it, to make us do something about it----and, as I've said, before, what can any USAan, here on WP, do about it (singularly or collectively); especially, NOW?

Okay so you have just admitted it is now okay to criticize the USA. Then why is it unfair to criticize the country now when Trump is suspending Muslims and working to end Obamacare. He is doing what many would consider to be bad, why should we turn blind and not discuss it, their is nothing wrong with it. An attack on America's leadership is not an attack on you, it is a justifiable criticism of those at the top nothing more.

The reason why certain people go on and on and on with Trump bashing, is in the title of this thread. It's derangement. It's an obsession. It's like crack to them. They're hopelessly addicted.

And what's the point in not doing it?

So a person who complains about Trump and his administration is both insane and an addict. Interesting way to attempt to dismiss criticism. A tactic of totalitarian regimes.

Nah just those who seem that way.

I mean let's say I started continually making derogatory comments about our next President Taylor Swift all over the place all the time. Eventually people are going to start wondering what the fug is wrong with me. And also get tired of hearing it and tell me to stfu already.

More likely Ivanka (if she doesn't end up in jail first.)

So what are they claiming Ivanka is going to end up in jail over? I'm presuming it's nothing rational.

It's to do with her trademarks in China. She does a lot of business there.

Quote:
Ms. Trump’s company secured valuable trademarks in China on the same day she helped welcome Chinese President Xi Jinping to Mar-a-Lago on an official visit.

Washington Post: Ivanka Trump’s foreign entanglements put America’s reputation on the line
Ivanka has an unpaid but formal role as a presidential advisor. And she is personally benefiting from this role.

I've thought about attacking the prime minister of Canada (whatever his/her name is) but I'm not sure that can be done with the leader of a large country that virtually does absolutely nothing. I mean it might as well be run by an animatronic puppet.

It's like if Canada disappeared off the face of the Earth, the rest of the planet would be completely unaffected. Well except for the supply of canadian bacon and maple syrup I suppose.

It rarely is.

The Washington Post is like a supplier to those addicted to Trump derangement syndrome. They've made zillions off it.

You know the rules about personal attacks I'm sure. Saying that I am rarely rational (on a support website) is a personal attack. Not that I'm going to report you or anything. Just so you know.

Anyway, saying that Canada is insignificant to the world is a bit mean. Canada's a nice place.

Unless you're the Washington Post, you don't have much of a case. I like the way you cleverly edited out the part where I specified "they" but I doubt any mod would fall for that so it's a good thing you're not going to make a fake report.

It is my idea that Ivanka will end up in jail, not the newspapers. I'm the they you speak of. There is a written record of these posts; oh but that's right, it doesn't matter what one says anymore, because no one means anything they say. Obfuscation is the new meeting point of minds.

Anyway, you are right about my rationality being an issue for me. But I think it is for Trump too.
