Scalia not dead,was seen on a secluded beach,wearing a thong, sipping Mojitos with Elvis,Morrison,Hoffa and Nimoy.
It's as good as any other conspiracy theory out there.

If you wanted to make it sound realistic you'd say he was at a bank cashing checks from upcoming court defendants...

He did that right before he flew to the Caymans,then he made large deposits in one of their secure bank accounts once he arrived.He's really macking it up down there.For a heavy man he sure is good at limbo.

I'm not attacking anything but corruption. Fact is Scalia was on the payroll of at least three firms that had cases in the Supreme Court. I don't care if it's a written, unwritten rule, what have you-- any judge or juror should be recused from their post if they have a stake in the result. I don't care if it was Scalia, Kagan, Kennedy, or the spirit of John Marshall himself-- if a justice or juror has a personal stake in a trial they should not be allowed to participate in the trial in an authority position. If they want to recuse themself and jump on the prosecution or defendant's side, fine, but no one should get to be judge or juror for their own case.

Maybe those Seals that Jacoby was talking about that died were going to come forward (just like with Benghazi) with the truth at some point and that's why their plane went down.

You said you were feeling attacked. I'm not attacking anyone here, merely corrupt behavior itself...that was my point.
Obviously we've had enough discussions you know my politics and yours are not the same, but that really is beside the point in this case. I just really hate how openly corrupt the supreme court has become: politics and money > principle and duty.

Don't get me wrong, I love me some Obamacare, I could just soak that stuff up like pancake syrup, but do you really think Roberts' deciding vote was on principle of law? Hell no, it was a political decision he made by "judging the tea leaves" of public perception. Great I got what I want right? Nope, I didn't-- I got a flawed decision that has really no merits aside from "me just caveman justice Roberts. Me no nothing of fancy laws with fancy words, me say something to make you happy though. yay." Sorry but the court can't function properly if it's mired in politics and not law (the two aren't completely separable, but certainly much more so than they have been the last half century or so).

If I looked over Scalia's entire voting record I'd be hard pressed to find a decision I agreed with, but that's all it is is a disagreement. His job was to write those opinions whether they were agreeable or not, I actually respect that about him-- he said what said regardless of fallout. What I can't take though is him accepting money on active cases. He should have been removed. Same goes for Breyer: he's heard four cases involving the scouts and he's an active scout member, sorry liberal or not, he needs to go in those cases.
