Please don't tell me you take that Antichrist horsesh*t seriously! I thought you're a Catholic, because then you'd believe the same thing that we Lutherans believe: that there's no Antichrist as in Satan's scion trying to undo Christ's work, but rather anyone who is opposed to, or sees fit to stand in the place of, Christ. Incidentally, references to the Antichrist, the Beast, and 666, almost certainly are veiled references to the Roman Emperor Nero, who persecuted the early church.

I'm not getting into a religious conversation with you and quoting Bible versus, but I will say that I've been Catholic since birth and one of the reasons I left the church is the present Pope. I really do believe this Pope (imo) is satanic. According to prophesy he is supposed to be the reining Pope when Jesus returns. (This Pope gives me the freaking creeps) . I do believe the antichrist is here, but I don't know who it is. From what I see this Pope is joined at the hip with Mr. Aw. I watch Jack Van Impe and he said that several Catholic Bishops are starting to come out and say there is something going on with the Pope and Mr. Aw. They are beginning to think what this article is saying. I don't know what to think, however, I do believe in the One World Order and I can definitely see these two doing things to bring it about. I think Armageddon is coming soon. The Jews have already said they are preparing for it also. I don't know what to think, but I know what I'm seeing and what I'm hearing. I must say that there hasn't been one religious patient that I've taken care of (not all same denominations) that hasn't said they believe the end is coming soon. It just feels like it is. It seems that the people who are religious know something is about to take place. I think we are going to get into a war with Russia too and if I'm not mistaken that is foretold in the Bible. And to be honest, I don't know what Lutherans believe.

I'm no Catholic, so perhaps I lack perspective here. But I have to wonder what exactly your issue with the current Pope is. What makes you think he's satanic?

Also I'd be curious to see where the Bible manages to predict the U.S. and allies going to war with Russia in the 21st century.

Another thing, Trump was right for standing up to that pope when the pope questioned his Christianity just because Trump wanted to build a wall between us and Mexico. Cruz and Rubio also sided with Trump. This Pope is overstepping his boundaries and I actually think Trump was being too nice to him. He needs to be put in his place. Just like it was shown in the news, the Vatican is totally walled in with armed guards. I think the guy (he is just a man) is nuts and abusing his power and I think he was brought in specifically to bring about the new religion for the coming One World Order - Chrislam - the merging of Christian and Muslim which absolutely cannot happen.

I'm going to be honest with you when I say reading scripture is not my thing. My friend Julia knows the Bible well and I know the news and we get together to see where the two are connecting. She said something about the Bible saying a war between Gog and Magog which is supposed to be the US and Russia? The Bible stuff is definitely not my specialty. As for the end times,that's been going on since the time of Christ.People have thought it was upon them,then lo and behold they lived to a ripe old age.I remember when some of the relgious kooks thought Gorbachev was the Antichrist becuse of a birth mark on his forehead.

Depends on the what Lutheran denomination you are talking about, the one I was born into the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod which quite literally teaches that the Pope and the Catholic church itself are the Antichrist but that is essentially what the religion was founded on. WELS kind of believes they are the one true church, a continuation of the original church after the Catholic one was corrupted. Lutherans like Catholics don't believe in the millinialist 'Left Behind' interpretation of the end times as made popular by Evangelicals in this country. From my understanding they do not believe in the rapture and then some period of tribulations or anything like that, we are living in tribulation as we speak so eventually Jesus will be resurrected with everyone that has died and bring final judgement to everyone at the same time or so the story goes if understand it correctly.

We're not Jesus . We have to deal with reality. In an idea world they'd obey laws and we wouldn't even need border pro troll or check points, but they don't care about any of laws. Do you really want millions of crinmals crossing over? Lots of western nations have wallls(fences) no point even having a national border without them. Might was well be annexed by Mexico or annex all Mexico and South America and become one nation. Until that happens we are the USA and we need a wall to keep people from crossing our border illegally.
