I know. The writing system is still way harder than English. Thai is harder to learn if you do not already know a similar language.

The American Dictionary is not The English Dictionary. Besides I am using the Harper-Collins English Dictionary. No American Dictionary could ever beat that. Unless you are using the New Oxford English Dictionary I don't really care.

Still does not change the fact it was a joint effort. If Britain had never held out as long as it did and Germany had conquered it before D-Day then Germany would have then been able to focus more troops on Russia. Montgomery would have either pulled out of Africa or been beaten providing Germany sent Rommel enough reinforcements. If Germany had then conquered Russia it would then have been free to assist Japan in the Pacific theatre, providing America would have entered the war fully then anyway. If Britain had been conquered and so on then either a)America would have been next or b)America would have signed an Alliance out of fear.

From the sheer basics I covered, I've found very interesting, to the point where I would consider it if my school offered it as a major. Even outside of your preferred country, I would think electrical engineers would be in reasonable demand.
