But it was said on here before by others that Disney said she was fired for making anti-semitic remarks, unless I am wrong?

Making ignorant anti-semitic comments and being anti-semitic are two different things. I think she doesn't care/empathise about the jewish holocaust but doesn't mean she "hates" jews.

I might accidentally use the wrong pronoun for a tans person which makes me ignorant and perhaps unwilling to learn about their struggle but that doesn't make me transphobic.

Ben Shapiro is a far right agitator who finds allies in people who attack the left. The fact he's jewish doesn't bother him.

But if Shapiro wanted to defend a fellow ally (Carano), then why didn't he just say that what she said is not anti-semitic because he is Jewish and he is not offended. He didn't even mention this fact, and wouldn't have doing so, just defended an ally more in his fight against the far left?

But why is he giving her a movie deal then, or what's in it for him? It's not like giving her the deal is going to help battle democrats any more effectively, is it?

Shapiro is trying to be a "great white saviour" that's why. The film is funded by a conservative right wing website called the "Daily Wire" owned by Shapiro. He's making a point to left wingers whom both Carano and Shapiro regularly mock on social media.

Oh okay, it just seems odd to me to battle a political war by making a movie. Movies seem to be for entertainment not important political beliefs. But maybe.
