What if the Chinese decide to deal with overpopulation by killing everyone else. I could see it happening. They do tend to be quite racist.

I'm white and the only time I've felt like I was discriminated against due to my ethnicity was by a Chinese person. I like China town. I like being around Chinese people for the most part. I love Chinese food!! !

answer me this tho, when at the restaurant or in chinatown

how much did they try to kill you?

One time I got some bad vegetarian chicken style mushrooms. Happy Family restaurant is still my favorite place to dine. It's in Rowland Heights, CA. :D They got a "B" but most of the time they are pretty good. :P

It's good to be aware of your limitations. To return to the mirror problem, it's surprising that someone of your technical background should be unaware of the obvious that construction in space does not involve lifting entire orbital structures at one go. If that were so the current space station would never have come about. There are current active plans to construct an orbital solar power mirror (http://news.cnet.com/8301-11128_3-10218788-54.html) and I cannot say if this can alternatively become a weapon but the evil intentions of humanity usually are more inspirational to the human mind than the beneficial ones. A huge proportion of major scientific breakthroughs that have benefited humanity, such as atomic power, aircraft, rockets and space, etc. have had their origins in military development. That's where the money is

If the money used worldwide in the military had rather been put in space programs, we could right now take our breakfast while watching trough the window, a sunrise on mars.

A sunrise on the Sahara desert is about as exciting and there's more air to breathe. Mars has very few tourist attractions.
