I'm becoming increasingly convinced Obama won't win another term as president and he probably won't even be the nominee of his own party. Democrats are turning on him and the Clintons will lead a rebellion against Obama. That's why there has been rumors about Obama offering Hillary the VP because they want to quash any rebellion before it begins. She will decline no question since she's positioning herself for a run in 2012 or 2016.

When the GOP takes over the house there will be investigations into the DOJ, Tony Rezko, Valerie Jarrett, Rod Blagojevich, etc. and if Obama's administration survives it will be so tarnished that there would be no recovering from it. The White House is going to have both sides gunning for them in the next 2 years.

For myself, I'd vote Sarah Palin. Firstly because I'm very conservative and have always voted republican in the past which was Bush and McKain, secondly she's an already well known public figure with more years of experience in politics than Obama.

By the way this is not who will be running in 2012, but it's being talked about in the media. I just thought I'd start a conversation for those who have input on the subject.

I wouldn't vote for Palin.

I seriously question if I would vote for Obama for a second term.

Either way, it ain't much of a choice. Neither are good.

Hillary. Even with menopause she is a better choice than that Chicago political thug Obama.

I never thought I would ever prefer Hillary to anything for any reason, but Obama has provided a reason.

In case you are missing it, the American electorate is in the process of hand-delivering Obama his second term.

Remember all the predictions of doom that occurred after the 1994 mid-terms? Clinton's most productive years as President happened after the Democrats lost control of Congress.

Right now, Democrats have no one to blame but themselves. But with a Republican Speaker, suddenly it becomes the Republican's responsibility to demonstrate that they have the capacity to govern, and Obama will be able to campaign in 2012 on the basis of the turnaround.

The Republicans might well nominate Palin in 2012 for two reasons: 1) to keep the Tea Party members inside the fold until the movement dies out; and 2) to have a whipping girl to lose to Obama so that they don't wind up hurting a viable candidate.

I predict Obama-Clinton in 2012 with an increased electoral college win over Palin.

I'd do what I did last time: vote for who I wanted and not worry about the mainstream. I vote my head, not my "I HAVE TO GIVE IN TO PEER PRESSURE!!".

If you're referring to troopergate it turns out that the guy she wanted fired from the State Police was issueing death threats to her family. The bigger question is why did the Governor have to step in to make sure a state trooper gets fired because he is issueing death threats to someone's family...

What I was trying to point out is that most of the garbage that has been said about Palin (particularly by the msm is probably not true).

I have never seen a more transparent attempt to demonize someone than the mainstream media's witchhunt towards Sarah Palin.

Palin or Obama?

I can't say I'm overly impressed with Palin but she's by far the lesser evil and I can't really say she's evil, just a little clueless.

It was worse when I had to choose McCain over Obama in '08.
To me McCain was a slippery old eel that seemed to try to lose the election and succeeded.
I hope I'm never again as disgusted as I was after that election.
