But do you support the current rules of this forum merely because they are currently favorable to you? If the rules for this subforum were changed so that freedom of speech trumped the other rules of the forum, would you then no longer support the rules on the basis of their status as rules?

Whether or not I agree with the rules, I would exercise my right to disagree with the rules whilst doing my utmost to adhere to them. What I would not do is act in contravention of the rules, and then expect those who enforce the rules to grant me special dispensation because I believe that my personal morality is superior to the morality enforced by the rules.

Much as I would do in the 'real world', where my views are often at odds with the law of the land.

I think the topic and the poll are great to improvise on, of course, this came up in the site searches for tolerance issues and I think this demonstrates an active awareness to sort some differences between site members and to clear up anything which 'threatens' to border into the silly and uncompromising.

I'd rather not argue the welfare of people rather just scan the channel for like minded compatriots.

More on this would reduce suffering intolerance complaints.

Addressing these problems may reduce online bullying.

That is giving one person to much power.
