Oh ok I thought it would be easy to figure out.

Actually i'd be against prisoners working. Since there is now a market in imprisoning people you'd basically develop an underclass of cheap labour that grew larger and larger. Most people in prison shouldn't really be there. Legalize drugs and and end illiteracy and you could eliminate around 70% of crime. There are also a larger number of mentally ill in prisons.
I'm a right libertarian who happens to smoke weed and believes the Drug War is BS. Matter of fact I'm pretty stoned right now lol.

Well I'm unsure of whether the labour should benefit the public or the prison industrial complex but I'm thinking of a new idea. Let's say some scumbag lets locked up for rape. The rape victim is gonna need a shedload of therapy, so the convict's labour should be used as proceeds to funding the victim's therapy. Another example is if someone does a B&E then that person has to pay for all the damages with prison labour. This could be good for Government run prisons.

Getting closer to direct ownership of slaves?
if we ended the drug war we would have so few people in prison it would not even be worth it to use their labor.

Well I already suggested that the suspect's prison labour could either be used as proceeds to pay for the victim's therapy and/or pay for damages the suspect is responsible for. And yes if you don't wanna be treated like a slave, then don't rape, murder, do robberies, or sell drugs. The death penalty has too big of a margin of error and similar to sustaining prisoners doing hard time it costs a lot of money. So I figured it's better if they were productive rather than left to rot and alive to still be able to see their families than dead. This is a tough on crime approach and at the same time much more humane than the death penalty.

you need to drop selling drugs as am example for full fidelity
(but consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds)
I am in complete agreement on the death penalty
and if prisons were just full of rapos, chomos and murderers
I would not have much sympathy for them. There are just to many people inside as colateral damage of the drug war for me to think that just because someone is in jail they don't deserve humane treatment.
about property criminals I am on the fence.

One good thing about Gaddafi is that a few years he reinvited the Libyan Jews back to Libya whom Gaddafi expelled when he came to power. If i were a Libyan Jew, i would willingly accepted his re-invitation. I hope other Arab countries do this, so they can end Zionism.

I am afraid they have a completely different approach to ending Zionism.
