"When I was a boy of 14, my father was so ignorant I could hardly stand to have the old man around. But when I got to be 21, I was astonished at how much the old man had learned in seven years.”

We have extended adolescence. That 21-year-old would be about 28 now.

It’s not because of any “deficiency” on the part of Millennials. It’s because of the nature of early 21st century life.

Billy Joel said it best:

We didn't start the fire
It was always burning since the world's been turning
We didn't start the fire
No we didn't light it but we tried to fight it...

If the Baby-Boomers retire, that's when I assume we are in full-blown crazy SJW/Progressive-land, for real.

Now the children of baby boomers are making an impact.

The citizens of San Francisco just elected Chesa Boudin as district attorney, his parents were members of the left-wing terrorist group Weather Underground. They were imprisoned for felony murder for their role in the Brinks heist of 1981 in which two police officers and a security guard were gunned down.
He shouldn’t be judged by his parents’ actions, yet he made their incarceration a centerpiece of his campaign, explaining that it showed the injustice of the criminal-justice system. The apple didn't fall far from the radical tree.

Chesa Boudin was 14 months old when his parents went to prison. He was adopted and brought up by Bill Ayers and Bernadette Dohrn. Need I say more? Actually, there is more.

After college Boudin moved to Venezuela to work for Hugo Chávez’s dictatorship and in 2009 wrote an article hailing Chávez’s successful elimination of term limits.

Boudin promises to prosecute Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents if they “kidnap” San Franciscans.
Words really do fail. Truly, a vote for virtually any democrat anywhere in America is a vote for chaos.

You can't make this stuff up..

Just in case he's forgotten, the victims of his parents' murderous conspiracy were Brinks guard Peter Paige and Nyack, NY police officers Waverly Brown and Edward O'Grady. The robbery and ambush of these men was premeditated and brutal, but I'm guessing that is of little matter to Boudin in his quest for "social justice."

And it's outrageous that so many still vote for these people no matter how stupid everything they say or act is.
My generation as a collective is completely f*** in it's head.

The more I read about this the more I outright want to say to hell with the elite shoving the garbage BS down these poor people's throats.

Half the crazy SJWs don't even vote...for real, there are a lot of 'I don't believe in voting' types in the SJW category. So not sure that they would end up being the ones running the show.

Could be.

But I think that decision our species made to come down from the trees was a mistake!

Many people of the Millennial Generation see Baby Boomers as society's party-poopers, when all along we have actually been the designated drivers.

In Colorado we voted for a democratic governor and I don't see the chaos, granted the guy would not have been my first pick seemed like there were some other more promising kind of more down to earth just regular people sort of candidates. But he was sure as hell a lot better than the republican option.

But now the vehicle is almost filled with plastic, where is anyone supposed to sit? Perhaps the designated driver should have thought about that.

Baby Boomers thought that THEIR mommies and daddies were the "party-poopers."

Back in the 1960s and 1970s, Baby Boomers were looked down upon in a similar way that Millennials are looked down upon by Baby Boomers these days.

The words used to describe Millennials by Baby Boomers are just about identical to the words the Silent Generation used to describe Baby Boomers back 40-50 years ago.

Baby Boomers had their own retorts to people of previous generations----very similar to "OK Boomer."

Whenever somebody invited somebody to a party, the inviter sometimes said, "Be there, or be square."

"What a Drag it is Getting Old" is from a Rolling Stones song. It's a song about taking pills, actually.

Today, it's prescription medication. Back in the 1960s, it was Quaaludes, or Uppers, or Downers. Bennies, Dexies.

"Valley of the Dolls" was a movie about the pill-addiction phenomenon. It goes to show that things really aren't that much different today than they were then.

Another one, from the Who's "My Generation" (1965):

"I want to die before I get old."
