Admits he advises the White House

A "Named" White House appointee.

Good for him, but not good for everyone else when he/CNN doesn't divulge this information nor Immelt's during a show discussing...hark...the economy and the jobs situation while praising Obama's plan, which seems very similar to the budget plan that got rejected by a Democrat House and Senate 2 years ago.

So, yeah I guess he "just" works for CNN, while advising the president and in turn providing a soft interview environment for Obama friends in return, nice. I guess that is journalism these days and why CNN only gets a view from me from time to time. Simple. The conflicts of interest are obvious in this story and if you can't see it then, good luck.

Fareed Zakaria is one of the most knowledgeable experts on international affairs. Obama's White House would be amiss for not making use of him. But is there any evidence that he was ever on their payroll? If not, I fail to see any conflict of interest.
It should be remembered, the Bush White House constantly made use of Fox as a means of disseminating information to the extent that they might as well have been a communication organ in everything but name. Yet, no one complained when any of Bush's people were interviewed by Fox.

Considering the grade level of her everyday emails was nearly that of some Obama Speech (one of his better ones), and the inability of the mainstream media to find anything they could use against her in 24,000+ emails. That is her casual writing being comparable to a formal speech.

Seriously, I think it is time for you to acknowledge the fact that Palin is a lot more intelligent than you gave her credit for. Stop believing sources that suffer from Palin-derangement syndrome, and Bush derangement syndrome.

Obama may have gotten a shakey ecomony, but he made it a lot worse with his tax, spend, and mountains of regulations ideology.

Name one Fox News employee that was working as an advisor for the Bush White House and was a Fox News employee at that time. I seriously doubt you're going to be able to find one.

Btw, Karl Rove didn't start working over at Fox News until after he left the Bush Administration.

No, there was no Fox correspondent who had worked for Bush - but the Bush White House had used Fox so much to disseminate information, at the expense of all other news outlets, that Fox, as I've already stated, might as well have been an unofficial communications organ. In fact, that was a fact that was hardly even denied by Bush, Cheney, and their people.
As for Palin's intelligence coming across in her emails - just because she can come off as literate on a computer screen only demonstrates that she has enough sense to proofread her posts. It's the content that I'm concerned with; such as casting doubt on the loyalty of Muslim Americans, or keeping gay Americans in second class status.

Wasn't the Times Square bomber and American Muslim (granted not by birth)?

Seriously, if we were having Catholic Nuns running around blowing people up, I would be wondering about Catholics and you would agree with me, however since we're not having Catholic Nuns running around blowing themselves up, I would think that going after Catholic nuns doesn't make a lot of sense.

I'm not saying we violate the Constitutional rights of US citizens, I'm saying that if we discover a mosque that is trying to radicalize people, I would think the members of said mosque should probably be investigated so we don't end up with a suicide bomber.

As a matter of fact, there have been Catholic churches and organizations that have had connections to the Irish Republican Army - a verifiable terrorist organization that Republican Senator King of New York has apologetically praised in the past. But I don't see anyone cracking down on Catholic churches or groups, or even seen Senator King having any blow back, despite his hypocrisy of vilifying the whole Muslim religion. Just because members of a particular religion or ethnic group have been terrorists doesn't mean that all members are, or that they all should be held in suspicion.

Aside from being movie villains, I don't recall the Irish Republican Army deliberately targetting Americans. Also the IRA has pretty much disbanded if I remember correctly.

They may not have targeted Americans, but they certainly murdered plenty of soldiers, police, and civilians because of British nationality, or because they were of the Protestant religion. And the IRA becoming disbanded is only a recent development, after a long, bloody history.

My point remains, they weren't a serious threat to American citizens, so while some places could be charged with money laundering or something, we weren't worried about an IRA member blowing himself up in time square.

Not sure if you were being sarcastic, but Muslim radicals blow themselves up thinking they get 70 some virgins to have their way with and these virgins will be their eternal slaves.

Great Britain is still an ally, and so we should consider their well being to be of importance in the face of terrorism. After all, we are concerned about the terrorism perpetrated against our Israeli allies, aren't we?

Great Britain is still an ally, and so we should consider their well being to be of importance in the face of terrorism. After all, we are concerned about the terrorism perpetrated against our Israeli allies, aren't we?

-Bill, otherwise known as Kraichgauer

I didn't say that we did not go after them for funnelling money to the IRA, however my point remains that we didn't have the added issue of Catholics running around blowing themselves up or going on a mad shooting spree in the name of religion here in the United States.

It is a revolving door, isn't it? All that Fox News will do is fill your little head with shyte.

How do explain a CNN reporter getting money from CNN in the form of a paycheck, and a paycheck from the Obama Administration at the same time.
