There are many self-made millionaires who aren't unreflective dicks when it comes to people who are still poor. Being nouveau riche isn't an excuse for being a dick.

Neither is being poor!! Why is it that when successful people have their land and businesses taken away because "society" could use the tax increases, libs don't defend the overreach. Ya know its good for society. But, those same libs, when posed with the question, "What are you going to do with a BA in Philosophy" want others to defend their poor choices by adding to glut of over-qualified know-it-alls. Which those successful people end up paying for anyway. Wake up. The great pucker is around the corner if this keeps up.

Give me an effing break! What "successful people" are having their land and businesses taken away from them in this country?

These are all cases of illegitimate use of eminent domain. In general, lefties are against government planned gentrification projects that force low or middle income residents out to make room for corporate strip malls and such.

Actually Raptor is a very sensitive soul who writes somnolent romantic poetry in his spare time.

Maybe you and Inuyasha and Browning could chip in for a thesaurus fund for Canadian sloganeers, I'm guessing they must have a shortage up there, based on the low slogan rotation anyway.

You're absolutely right. One could learn much about sloganeering from these fine American gentlemen. Their generosity will be much appreciated by our own tame system of political mudslinging (youtube "Conservative Attack Ads" for a good laugh. Or Canadian attack ads in general, though those stand out in particular).

Herman Cain is a Conservative that I like he came from a lower class family like me and acheived the american dream threw hard work and he gives back to the community.

Fact 1. Herman Cain has given his hard earn money to Samaritan's Purse.

Fact 2. Herman Cain's Charity Focuses On Inner-City Youth.

A honest good hearted Conservative sure he may do things that Libs do not like but he has.

Done plenty of humanitarian work as well I dont care much about his political views but I love.

A blue collar conservative which in a way I am to.

If he runs, I am voting for him. Herman Cain is a much more practical choice than Ron Paul.

Seriously I suggest you apologize to Dox47, because you are way out of line.

Au contraire, coming from him STFU is the highest of complements, no apology required. Besides which I'm sure he's busy looking for questionable sounding things I might have said back in 2006 on other websites to try and throw at me, we wouldn't want to take him away from that.

Oh, don't worry, he isn't looking for your respect.

Look, honestly, I don't see M_P as doing anything too questionable in this thread. I mean, yeah, his response to Raptor did get a bit confused, but that happens.

Dox is clearly trying to bate M_P out of their pre-existing antipathy, there is no reason why M_P ought to apologize. I wouldn't if I were in his situation. I'd even bet Dox wouldn't apologize if he were in M_P's position, not to presume about Dox either, but I just don't see him taking other people's s**t unnecessarily.

Ahh, but would you bet that I would use the same three catchphrases for several years, start numerous flamebait threads, and then get pissy when someone points these things out in the first place? M_P's a big boy that likes to take his own shots at people, presumably he can take some incoming fire, though as mentioned that shot seems to have struck close to home based on his reaction.

Dox, let's just be honest, despite any and all personal flaws, M_P is still a better poster than a large number of the others. I'll admit that he has his biases, and gets wound up, but seriously, if you want to go after sh**headedness, you're not going after the low-hanging fruit. I mean, there is a large list of PPR posters who are even bigger eyesores in each and every possible way.

He didn't start this thread to bait you personally. Or are you really cocky enough to think the whole world revolves around you? Why don't you just admit you like picking personal fights against people to stroke your obnoxious f*****g ego.

I have met Ron Paul in person, shook his hand and looked him in the eye. He is no fake. He is quite sincere. Unfortunately he is unelectable. He is so out of sync politically that he would be of little use as president. Ron Paul is as out of place as President of the U.S. as the late Jack Kavorkian would have been as President of the American Medical Association.

Indeed, the whole point of starting this thread was to elaborate on the theme that Herman Cain isn't a reflective type of guy who knows the problems of the "everyman" but rather has let his success go to his head without derailing another thread on that tangent.

I have never started a PPR thread attacking a politician while not genuinely pissed off about some central element of their style and conduct.

I just do not like Ron Paul because of his Libertarian views I know that seems a bit judgemental but Libertarians are just weird :?

Explains why the Liberal Members of the United States Supreme Court with the swing vote were the ones saying that this was an okay use of eminent domain, and it was the Conservative Judges that were in dissent.
