(Joke, joke - American beer is some of the very best in the world. If you live in the U.S. and you don't think so, you're under-educated in beer or deranged.)
Trust me, I normally drink less than stellar, but cheap beer like Pabst Blue Ribbon, as that was showcased in my favorite movie, Blue Velvet.

To be honest, I don't know many Germans but they've always been at least alright with me whenever I've met them. They like eating and drinking too much and they are very serious about it. Can't say I can fault them really. (And yes the people in their government and those running the EU are scumbags but the people aren't like that.)
Yeah, even during WW2, apart from the percentage of populace who actually were brainwashed, not every German was a bad guy. There were a few that protected the people who would have been shipped off to their deaths, even within places of authority, and a few who tried to kill Hitler even. I don't fault them any, the ones who opposed the crap of the Nazis. However, Bill there, had previously made posts which sounded like he was talking about the Germans as being the Ubermensches of humanity and that disgusted me and apparently he still holds that disagreement as a grudge. Oy veh dude.
Ubermenches? Me? Seriously?
(Sigh) I've said it once on this forum, I've said it a thousand times - - humor goes over the heads of us Aspies constantly. And I include myself in regard to not getting humor because of the way the good Lord had made me. If you're referring to some previous back-and-forth between ruveyn and me, in which we were trying to one-up one another with our ancestors, we were definitely indulging in good natured ribbing.
Remember, I'm the guy who calls Republicans "crackers" (actually, I'm referring to the heartless Republicans who think having an education is a fault). People who are liberals are very rarely - if ever - the same who worship the Untermensch - German or otherwise.

I think it was some other time actually, but yes, humor does escape us Aspies at times for certain. Was telling me my supposed thoughts and motives just supposed to be a joke or were you serious?

It was conjecture on my part, as I hadn't understood your motivation at the time.

Well, it was just my drudging up a list and not remembering what the racist terms the English use for Germans are/were. Actually come to think of it, I don't know that there's an insult word the English use for the Scottish, although, wait, I think I've heard the word "tartar" in an Agatha Christie novel once before. Not sure though.

Nope, it was a in a line of an Agatha Christie novel in which, in a string of conversation quotes, someone referred to a Scottish person as a "tartar", which might be a reference to the plaid pattern of kilts I think I remember, but anyway I was just trying to remember what I had read years ago.
I thought tartars were a Russian people?
The Scottish have tartan colours though (as does Nova Scotia, my home province), mayhap thats what you recall?

I don't have a clue what the Russians are called by the English, but tartan does sound correct for the plaid pattern's name though, each family having a unique pattern right?

Yes. A tartan is like a family crest, it identifies you as a member of a certain bloodline.

Really? That's bizarre.
Don't know why, except that it was used in Europe during the Middle Ages.
-Bill, otherwise known as Kraichgauer
I would guess that it probably has something to do with their invasion and harassment of the Western Roman Empire, or something somehow related there, but it doesn't seem to make any sense. Did they eat fish much while they were campaigning?

Actually, I think in this regard, the Mongols referred to as Tatars were those invading Russia and Poland, and who almost overran Austria, till they were recalled home when their great Khan had died.
The Mongols who had invaded Roman territory were the Huns.
