Oh dear.

I feel the need to undermine your faith in human nature and expose you to the true depths of depravity that humanity can really sink to.

1. Mother keeps son locked in basement for long period while eating strips off him and also forcing him to eat his own flesh.

Those are a couple of recent incidences but if you are christian you may want to open your bible sometime. Drum roll.....

Deuteronomy 28: 53

And thou shalt eat the fruit of thine own body, the flesh of thy sons and of thy daughters, which the LORD thy God hath given thee, in the siege, and in the straitness

2 Kings 6:28

And the king said to her, What ails you? She answered, This woman said to me, Give me your son so we may eat him today, and we will eat my son tomorrow. So we boiled my son and ate him. The next day I said to her, Give your son so we may eat him, but she had hidden her son

And erm, christians call the bible 'the good book' ?!
They give this thing to their children to read?!

Foooooooooooooook.

I was speaking in general, you seriously think I'm not aware that there are complete psychos in this world? Mothers usually wouldn't eat their own children, so that's what can be expected of the vast majority of them.

For the record, I'm aware that people can take what I say literally but I'm not absolutely precise when it comes to the words so you can safely assume that when I'm speaking generally I mean it as a rule of thumb rather than an absolute law.

Ok leaving psycho's aside let's look at hungry mothers.

From everbodies favourite Stalinist paradise:

Quote:
“One time a mother put her 9-year-old daughter in this big cast iron pot and boiled her," she said. "She was a too big for the pot so the mother had to chop her legs and head to fit the body in the pot."

Sook said, “"On another occasion, a lady killed her 16-year-old son, chopped him into pieces and took him to a butcher shop to get some corn in exchange.

When I hear things like this there are certain people, specifically prolific TZMers, to who I really wanna say "LOOK what capitalism made these people do!!"

All jokes aside if an 'anarchist' (in name only, apparently its just a new term for democratic socialism) government was all for putting people like that out of our misery they might have something going for em.

I've just checked with my source at fox news and apparently it is common place in California.

There is also a popular religion that involves a cannibalistic ritual.

Must be popular in California.

It is most popular in the Bible Belt, but exists just about everywhere in the USA.

Get the feeling you're well acquainted with it for your lobbying on the first page.

If you mean "Cannonballism", that describes a baptism

Paying property tax gives a land owner almost exclusive rights to the land. The exception is utility placement and maintenance, and the requirement to allow access to mineral right holders. One other exception is in the case of imminent domain.

There are very few instances in which a land owner who is current on property taxes can lose their land.

Renters, on the other hand, only have the right to occupy land under the terms and conditions of their lease. My landlord can evict me for violation of the lease...for example if I have pets I have agreed not to have, a water bed, aquarium, if I make repairs on my own, and so on. He can choose not to renew my lease for any reason he pleases, and he may raise my rent. I can't develop the land, and I can't sell the land either.

Someone who has lost their land due to failure to pay property taxes is not necessarily in a worse situation than a renter who has been evicted. When I was young, my parents could never save up enough money to buy a house. They always rented. Over 20 years, the money they spend renting exceeds the amount they would have paid if they had bought a house and paid it off and continued to pay the property tax. Had they bought a house they would only now be paying the property tax, which is significantly cheaper than rent.
