So someone tried to assassinate Marois as she was giving her victory speech. The killer gunned down a couple of people with a Kalashnikov before the gun jammed in a bid to shoot his way to her in back of the venue.

She needs to tone down her rhetoric. Now she's getting crazy people on her case, riling up the violent and irrational of Quebec with her irrational politics. She has no intention of fulfilling most of her promises so why bother inflaming the population with her divisive and highly exclusionary politics. Argued with some separatist douche on Facebook about the shootings. He said something along the lines of "The English are violent and don't belong here, look at what they're doing, blah blah blah". Meanwhile his cover photo is the FLQ flag (a terrorist organization). I don't know if I should laugh at his stupidity and hypocrisy or weep for the ignorance that sweeps the population of this province and is destroying Montreal's bilingual culture

The assassin Richard Bain described her the same way. There's been a campaign of hatred against French Quebec that's been relentless... and people are showing approval of the murderer.

Source for that claim? I have seen nothing but disgust, especially from English speakers. A lot of people have used "la vache qui rit". Does that therefore = everyone likes Bain (if he even said that?). The hatred of French Quebec you go on about- what evidence do you have for that? Articles from Sun News Network? Give me a break, you have nothing. You are just weakly attempting to justify the oppressive and dishonest actions of the party you support. In addition to the utterly disingenuous nature of claiming support for Bain is going up as if this is something terrifying and unprecedented in Quebec history- how many of you pequistes support the FLQ? We still see FLQ graffiti all over the place. At least the Anglo who tried the violent path was alone and insane. You people organized and support willful acts of terrorism, if we use the logic you are using to put down Anglos for the actions of Bain
