Where has Kraichgauer been?

Did you know that the government passed the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, and that we finally took out Osama bin Laden? You have quite a lot to catch up on.

Thank you. 8)

It's not like they're actually being asked to perform abortions, only not to deny their employees the kind of insurance they might want.

Essentially they are saying that their religion requires them to force their employees to conform to the religious beliefs of their employers outside of work. :?

Are you sure this is the pro freedom of religion side?

I wish I had had your words to answer Inuyasha on that matter. Very well spoken.

Yes! The free exercise of one's religion is not protected when it infringes on the free exercise of another person. I hate it when I feel something is morally or legally wrong, but can't put my finger on the correct argument to support my position - thank you, I'll borrow yours.

You mean Obamacare which is nothing more than a powergrab, if you think 12,000 new regulations that are still being written is going to do anything but further wreck the economy than whomever taught you economics was a moron.

The economic woes created in the last 50 years are going to take a hell of a lot longer than 50 years to alleviate, let alone "fix".

That said, for ANY party or candidate to claim they can really fix ANYTHING in any one-to-several terms - let alone a human lifetime - is complete idiocy. With extremely limited wiggle room, Obama was actually able to make clear some goals that would benefit this nation in the long run, which no one else was stepping up to do. For anyone to take those goals as "bona fide promises with a deadline" was a serious error in reason.

So, is a net job gain of zero since the 2008 downturn a bad thing at all? No. All I can tell you is that I will do what little I can not to allow conservatives into any office ever again. I'd rather be taxed than have base earnings squashed and the rest of my money milked dry by price fixing. Just think for a minute - is tax ever going to "drop" in the long run anyhow? No.

And in my eyes "Obamacare" is a likely-necessary move to prevent people from dying on the streets en masse who will likely never be gainfully employed enough to afford rising healthcare costs, which are courtesy of ________ .

So for all those going on about short term economic "fixes", keep blowing hot air - it won't do you any good.

And calculating with inflation corrected dollars wages have been flat since 1970 and in some areas even declining.

What saved the American economy following the Great Depression was a World War in which the U.S. did not get bombed or invaded (the Continental U.S.). Hawaii was bombed and some islands near Alaska were invaded. Both by the Japanese.

Not sure where you're getting your stats from, but it doesn't matter since economic stats seldom take enough things into account. Politics certainly follows suit.

And wars are primarily capitalist maneuvers. Someone benefits in the short run, but certainly not in the long. And the benefits are usually at the expense of a great many others.

Why do you have to see sinister motives in everything the Democrats - especially Obama - do? Can't you consider the possibility that they simply wanted to help people, even if you disagree with how they go about it?

Only thing I will give Obama some credit for is the death of Bin Laden (in spite of Obama's best efforts to gut the intelligence gathering that located Bin Laden).

Obamacare is simply a powergrab anyone that has studied Constitutional History will admit that it is unconstitutional as hell.

Furthermore I was pointing out that Kraichgauer is apparently getting his information from sources like MSDNC, DNN (or SNN), etc., and in reality has no idea what has really been going on.

Now hold on a minute! To say that Obama had tried to gut intelligence gathering on Bin Laden's location is completely untrue! In fact, it was Bush who had quietly shut down operations for finding him. Obama had reinstated those efforts.
And a powergrab? Really? Even if Obamacre was for arguments sake unconstitutional, I think you have to be the most cynical person in the world to believe he was only trying to usurp power from the constitution, rather than wanting to help people without medical coverage.
And as far as sources go, I hardly think Fox Noise, Glenn Beck, and Rush Limbaugh constitute legitimate sources of information.

Just like your sources claimed that Bush let the New Black Panthers get away with voter intimidation and was responsible for Fast & Furious.

Sorry, Kraichgauer your sources have absolutely no shred of credibility and it's high time you acknowledge that.

My sources are CIA and military personal interviewed by CNN, who had been on the trail of Bin Laden. Who are your sources? Fox? Limbaugh? Beck?
