Right, this coming from the same culture which has beauty show meat markets and a multi million dollar porn industry where women are repeatedly penetrated in the anus and ejaculated on for the entertainment of men.

What, you don't think women watch porn or enjoy having anal sex?

Theres an industry sub-genre called 'female friendly'.

Its very existance should tell you something.

And all women who watch porn, watch the "female friendly" sub genre?

Wholly different semantics. Most countries in the world werent formed through theft, robbery, murder and unscrupulous dealings.

It isnt that the Israelis wouldn't like to make gaza a crater, the only thing thats stopping is them is the luminous glare of opinion from the international community. Which is a good thing given the shady history of how Israel started in the first place.

As far as countries being born out of theft, robbery, murder, and unscrupulous dealings - I think my own USA resembles that remark.

I know, thats why I said 'most' countries.

USA and Israel are in the minority. I don't doubt there are others.

yes, originally the IDF goes back to the 'Irgun' and the 'hashomer' - particularly nasty paramilitary groups touting the ideology 'revisionist zionism' who claimed ownership not over only just present palestine but also large swathes of Jordan and Iraq .

Gay porn doesn't even have women in it. It only has men in it. Is hardcore gay porn okay?

The point isnt about who is being penetrated, the point is about unequal power relations between the genders.

Um, managed to piss off just about no-one, except the Palestinians!

How can Jordan possibly act as an intermediary when the Palestinians will have nothing to do with them?

The Palestinians *are* no-one in Middle Eastern politics. Besides, I said it would be in their *interest* to delegate authority to Jordan. I never said that it would actually happen. Palestinians have demonstrated an impressive ability for self-destructive behaviour.

Oh, and the "nothing to do with them" statement isn't entirely correct:

I'm posting this from a mobile phone, so it is absolutely impossible to respond to quoted posts because the phone's screen is so tiny and fiddly.

The_Face_of_Boo: By that yardstick (and by your implication), the Irish Army is a terrorist army due to it directly descending from the IRA of the War of Independence. Think carefully about chucking about slanderous claims.

thomas81: How much of that land is part of the State of Israel? Hint: most of it is in Jordan.

Uh huh, freedom fighters, sure. Thats why they launched an assault against a pacifist pseudo-nation without an army. What bullies they were.

I suggest you watch the video i posted in the 'Palestinian girl....' thread about the son of one of their generals who completely debunks their so called 'freedom fighting'. Do that and come back to me.

If the testimony of an Irgun general's son won't convince you, I don't know what will.

EDIT:
In fact, here it is again, just for you:

Pacifist? PACIFIST?!?

Pseudo-nation I will grant you. But PACIFIST?!?!?

There is much that the Israelis must answer for. Their conduct in the West Bank is inimical to peaceful resolution, and should be roundly criticized. But not so in Gaza.

If at the time it had no army or militia of any quantity, it was hardly in a position to engage in conflict. It was pacifist by default.

I think in the video the authors father is quoted as saying "when a larger power occupies a smaller nation, terrorism is the only recourse it is left with". How right that was.

and that is coming from one of the irgun thugs who ruveyn admires so much.

I would recommend watching the entire video, before you leap to that conclusion.
