That makes me think of when I saw some Mennonite women shopping for undergarments, they were picking out black, red and animal print stuff that was really racy.
The bad thing is now every time I see one of these ladies I get a really weird visual about what they are wearing under those demure clothes.

Possibly but on the other hand it is just animal print, and it is private.

Of all the religious nutjobs, the Amish and Mennonite, are some of the least nutty.

Also they are not anti technology as such, they just have to agree that it is necessarily, they don't want a source of jealousy.

the Amish can be pretty nutty, as can their cousins the Hutterites. i worked as a teacher on the most strict Hutterite colony in existence, so i saw it firsthand.

the Hutterites severely restrict women's rights. men are allowed rights and freedoms that women do not possess, such as holding driving licenses, jobs, watching television and listening to radios, talking on the telephone to non sect members, holding positions in the church, travelling to other colonies on the weekend, education after age 14, playing hockey and other sports, voting on the colony, etc.

the Amish are no better, with similarly strict patriarchal roles and expectations. they are actually fairly similar to the Hutterites, except that Hutterites use farm technologies.
So you were a teacher!! ! Ill do my best to behave myself so I dont have to sit in the corner again!! 8O *puts an apple on Hyperlexians desk*

hahaha
