Israel launches 'Palestinian only' buses
The funny thing of the racism claim is that one side whines about it while at the same time permitting their television broadcasts to be filled with extremely racist and 'we must wipe them out' messages even in kids shows.
so because the media of a community broadcasts racist messages, the appropriate course of action is to repay the same racism to the population of that community?
You insist on overlooking the bombings done by Palestinian operatives on unarmed people very often women and children.
The Palestinians are by and large a dangerous and sometimes murderous lot and years of history has proved it. They do not want peace. The want the Jews dead or gone.

I guess you'd really have to look at the whole picture from pre 1948 to have a reasonable opinion. Both sides had an opportunity to have statehood, both deals set forth by the UN weren't ideal. Jews took the deal, the Arab League didn't. One side chose law and diplomacy, the other side chose war. It all starts from that for the most part.

Has anyone bothered to read the article? All I see is four pages of uncritical, partisan nonsense from the lot of you.
First off, these are two bus lines for Palestinian workers commuting from the West Bank to Israel. It's not a separate system.
Second, there is absolutely nothing that prohibits a Palestinian from using any public bus line. These two lines are not mandatory.
Third, this is the subject of ongoing ciricism and scrutiny from left-wing Israeli groups--who are quite prepared to hold their government to account, if these bus lines are used as an excuse to remove Palestinians from other services.

How many of those were killed in bus attacks?
right, so if the Palestinians had used F-16 jets and abrams tanks that would make it fine in your eyes?
I can't access the site yet but I want to make a few points.
This story is actually a deliberate libel from Electronic Intifada. What the Israeli Ministry of Transport actually did was set uo more buses specifically for Palestinians. Note: extra buses for Palestinians coming into Israel. The Israelis at no point in time in this case remotely suggested banning Palestinians from Israeli buses, even though tensions are simmering between some Palestinians and Israelis on buses.
Frankly I woukdn't even consider letting non-citizens who are a risk to my country's security to work but then the Israelis are more tolerant than I am. Even if their tolerance directly leads to their own deaths.
The official announcement about extra buses for the West Bank Arabs is on the Israeli MoT website but it is in Hebrew only. Google Translate will give you a reasonable translation.
So to recap: more lies from Israel haters. Should we be surprisef?
Israel is the ancestral homeland of the Jews. According to them, it was promised to them by their god, and it says so in their holy text. Naturally, the Jews are going to think Israel belongs to them by divine right.
The Palestinians have also lived in that area for ages. In fact, they ruled that area up until the 20th century, when thousands Jews came flooding in after the Holocaust, because the Jews had nowhere else to go. Naturally, the Palestinians are going to think their land has been invaded, and that they needed to do something to defend it.
In my opinion, they both have equally valid points. Unfortunately, the normal recourse to land disputes is war, which is what we have now. I think the two of them should learn to cooperate somehow, rather than keep fighting each other. Otherwise, that conflict will end in a bloodbath.
Unfortunately, most Palestinians support a Palestine that includes Israel's territory and has no Jews in it. Most also support the Hamas Charter, which calls for Jews to be killed for being Jews.
Oh, and it is worth pointing out that - if anything - this service is biased against *Jews*, not Palestinians. The buses are officially for all, but in practice they stop at Arab tiwns only.
See here: http://cifwatch.com/2013/03/06/the-fact ... bus-lines/
I estimate that it would take nuclear irradiation reducing their lands to a worthless radioactive landscape. Even then, you'd likely have fanatics who try to remain.
I know there are "reasons", but I'm really not seeing the point in squabbling over land that is only the size of New Jersey when there are likely countries that would be willing to donate a segment for all of them to coexist far away from each other.
Locations such as 57.224557,50.638433, several miles east of a small two road village in Kirov Oblast, Semisopochnoi Island in Alaska, Picton in Chile, Death Valley National Park, California, or perhaps Henderson Island, way off in the middle of the South Pacific Ocean.
As for what would happen to Old Israel? Its government would be invalidated (Likely replaced with a puppet show for all I care.) and the "holyland" would be turned into a World Culture Heritage site, the management of which would be upon the hands of the world. Certain countries would be discluded for obvious biases or incompetence, such as the USA.

Oh? Thats not the version of events given by several Israeli human rights advocacy groups or the Israeli newspaper Haaretz daily.
You will find that Haaretz is very unlike most Israeli newspapers. Also, the entire enterprise of the OP has shown to be outright lies.
I can foresee Haaretz issuing yet another retraction on this.
You seem far more interested in believing outright lies if they chime with yout anti-Israel view than accepting the truth.
Anyway, I can't be judgemental towards the authorities who conceived this rule. In a country with such a danger of suicide bombing, that could be understood as being pragmatic, not racist. But I will not make bets on the absence of racism here. Both sides of the conflict have lost their reason a long time ago.
Most off the middle east has very poor to non-existent hygiene. The Palestinian parts of the west bank are usually critically low on water even for drinking and cooking.
The Israelis of course have nothing to do with that water shortage... Funny how easy it is to pile onto people; one attack is used to justify another and then another.
No; the Israelis provide more water than they need to under the Oslo Accords. The Palestinians actually poison their water.
Who ever said that the Oslo Accords were fair? The objective truth is that the Israelis take almost everything and ban the Palestinians from having a reasonable amount. Settlers fill swimming pools whilst villagers need to pay large amounts for trucked in water. They aren't allowed to dig wells below a certain level but the settlers can. Totally racist regime, totally racist system and those who support it, well, I guess that makes them racist.
So that neatly means that the Palestinians don't have to abide by any foreign judgements, doesn't it.
Fact is: the Israelis and the Palestinians signed an agreement.
Israel has held its side of the bargain (and more), the Palestinians have reneged on it, just as they have reneged on many of their other agreements.
Proof?
No, they pay a reasonable amount for water from Israel, but that's not necessary, because they would have that water for free had the extremely corrupt Palestinian Authority exploited the opportunities that Israel had placed into their laps.
You also know that West Bankers actually benefitted an awful lot in terms of water provision from the post-1967 Israeli rule? The Jordanians treated them like mud and the Palestinians living there had little access to water.
This is actually complete lies.
Israel have approved plenty of sites for well-drilling in the PA areas, but the PA have ignored about half of all the offers for sites that Israel has approved for drilling water. The blame is on the PA for not following through the opportunities given to them by Israel to drill for extra water.
The Israelis have instituted numerous water-related projects with the Palestinians, but the PA has not taken the Israelis up on their offers. These projects would have lead to a much greater water supply to ordinary Palestinians living in the PA areas, but the PA doesn't want their people to be prosperous and well-looked after. It, like Hamas, wants them to be miserable and blaming Jews.
I'd be perfectly happy to see a Palestinian state where Arabs and Jews have equal rights - as is much the case in Israel now.
And that can be sorted out by killing every Jew on Earth and/or expelling all Jews from their homes.
If anyone is the racist, it is people like you.
It's Boycott Israel Week this week. I have bucked the trend by buying four bottles of lovely Israeli wine, produced in the Golan Heights.
