Crass topic, based on childish implied argument. It is people that make these sort of argument are the ones that prolong conflicts.

If the people who buy the tobacco products do so willingly and are happy with the purchase then for them it is goo.

True until 1924, when legal immigration was essentially halted.

Now most immigration is illegal.

At the time of the the great wave of immigration to America, there had been vast open spaces in the west, along with the promise of homesteading to lure people in. Failing that, there was plenty of slums to stack immigrants in, when they weren't slaving away in America's vast industrial machine.

America is still mostly empty space, population issues are not purely down to space, it is about resources.

Germany isn't "the country" where Jews were persecuted(see the OP which implied this). The Holocaust took place all over Europe. Jews were persecuted way before the holocaust. Things would be relatively calm in countries like Russia for Jews (sure they lived in ghettoes, weren't allowed to buy land elsewhere, had restrictions on their civil right and such but were mostly left alone) until for some reason the rest of the Russians wanted to blame them for something or got mad at Jews for whatever reason and then there would be pogroms where Jews were killed , their homes burned and looted, women raped etc. Also a greater percentage of immigrants came to Israel from Arab and north African countries. Sephardic Jews were persecuted in those countries, they were again relegated to ghettoes, could not have their heads higher than a Muslim's, would have to walk instead of ride a camel because their heads couldn't be higher than a Muslim's and were periodically attacked in a similar fashion as the Russians -homes burnt, randomly ransacked , Jews randomly killed. Currently Jews (the VERY few that still live in those countries) and Christians are still persecuted in Arab and North African countries and are subject to random attacks by angry countrymen. So it's not like jews would be welcome back to those countries with open arms (I guess that depends on which meaning of arms you're taking). Also the point that Israel can be a sanctuary for Jews if the world decides to persecute us/ tries to annihilate us again is not refuted by the fact that right now things are calm and safe in Germany for Jews and a couple artist dudes moved back there!

Say a couple of British artists leave the UK and go and live in another country because they don't like the UK. So what?

And also, why is the OP posting articles from nearly a year ago if not to provoke?
