Sorry dude!

People from the country of Turkey, are called "Turks".

And while we are on the subject- "Kurds" , "Kurdistan", "Kurdish", are all usually spelled with a "k" in English.

What you said makes perfect sense- but you got all of us natives of English speaking countries laughing our asses off at the idea of 'educated turkeys',

I hate to be an arse about it because I can't exactly converse very well in my second language - I'm not as fluent as her.

Yes- we were all spoiled.

We had Bill Clinton, and Dubya,( the two funniest presidencies in recent times) back-to-back.

Since Obama took office we are all having laugh withdrawls.

But there have been spells of relief.

Italy provided us with Berlusconi for a while!
