Zuheir Mohsen, a Palestinian leader of the pro-Syria as-Sa’iqa faction of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) between 1971 and 1979, openly admitted that Palestinian people were a fake people, created only out of propaganda and the excuse to war against Israel and the Jewish people.

In a March 1977 interview with the Dutch newspaper Trouw Zuheir Mohsen said:
“Between Jordanians, Palestinians, Syrians and Lebanese there are no differences. We are all part of ONE people, the Arab nation. Look, I have family members with Palestinian, Lebanese, Jordanian and Syrian citizenship. We are ONE people. Just for political reasons we carefully underwrite our Palestinian identity. Because it is of national interest for the Arabs to advocate the existence of Palestinians to balance Zionism. Yes, the existence of a separate Palestinian identity exists only for tactical reasons. The establishment of a Palestinian state is a new tool to continue the fight against Israel and for Arab unity.”

One man's opinion proves nothing and does not change the fact that state or not, the lands being annexed are the birthright of arabs whose lineage stretches back centuries.

Especially the opinions of men with a deviating political and/or theological agenda.

it is not opinion it is fact. nobody was crying for apalestinian homeland before 1967 Gaza was part of Egypt. the west bank along with east jerusalem was part of Jordan. your precious Arabs in those lands where never calling for an independent palestinian state. And the Arabs originated from the Arabian Peninsula they spread due to islamic/arab conquests after the alledge life of Mohamed the prophet. Jews where living IN ISRAEL/Judah LONG before the Arab invasions and conquests

PLO executive committee member Zahir Muhsein said this in 1977:
The Palestinian people does not exist. The creation of a Palestinian state is only a means for continuing our struggle against the state of Israel for our Arab unity. In reality today there is no difference between Jordanians, Palestinians, Syrians and Lebanese. Only for political and tactical reasons do we speak today about the existence of a Palestinian people, since Arab national interests demand that we posit the existence of a distinct "Palestinian people" to oppose Zionism.

For tactical reasons, Jordan, which is a sovereign state with defined borders, cannot raise claims to Haifa and Jaffa, while as a Palestinian, I can undoubtedly demand Haifa, Jaffa, Beer-Sheva and Jerusalem. However, the moment we reclaim our right to all of Palestine, we will not wait even a minute to unite Palestine and Jordan.

PLO representative in Saudi Arabia Rafiq Najshah: “There has been no change whatsoever in the fundamental strategy of the PLO, which is based on the total liberation of Palestine and the destruction of the occupying country.... On no accounts will the Palestinians accept part of Palestine and call it the Palestinian state, while forfeiting the remaining areas which are called the State of Israel.”

PLO spokesperson Bassam abu-Sharif: “The struggle against the Zionist enemy is not a matter of borders but relates to the mere existence of the Zionist entity.” (In an interview with the Kuwait News Agency, May 31, 1996)

did you know that the Hashemite royal family originated from Arabia? they are from the Quraysh tribe. look it up

“Palestine and Jordan are one…” said King Abdullah in 1948.

“The truth is that Jordan is Palestine and Palestine is Jordan,” said King Hussein of Jordan, in 1981.

“Palestine is Jordan and Jordan is Palestine; there is only one land, with one history and one and the same fate,” Prince Hassan of the Jordanian National Assembly was quoted as saying on February 2, 1970.

Abdul Hamid Sharif, Prime Minister of Jordan declared, in 1980, “The Palestinians and Jordanians do not belong to different nationalities. They hold the same Jordanian passports, are Arabs and have the same Jordanian culture.”

Nomadic people can't claim land. In all those centuries, the vast majority of Israel was wasteland. No effort to make anything of the land and settle it.

Why does the manner in which you say they lived mean they had no right to live there?

For centuries it was claimed no-one much lived in the Americas before Europeans arrived.

That was bull too.

And the ancient map is nothing more than guessing. While the few seas, rivers and surviving towns can be located, historians and theologians alike have many theories about the actual location of the biblical regions and towns which didn't survive with their names unchanged, including locations in North Africa.

If I claimed your house on the basis that my ancestors lived in the neighbourhood and they had written down that God said it would always belong to our family, would you move out?

yeah, they are trying to ethnically cleanse the lands of israel, gaza, the west bank and (for some partisans) Jordan of indigenous people. There has been a deliberate propaganda campaign to defend Israel's roots. Take this: "Nomadic people can't claim land. In all those centuries, the vast majority of Israel was wasteland. No effort to make anything of the land and settle it." There are olive plantations that are 200 some years old that Israeli settlers are burning, the state annexing, etc. nomads have rights and they live off of the land - it is a crime against humanity to destroy their homes, and rob them of their livelihood. Literally every colonisation that has been defended in the last 300 years, at least all i know of, use the "we improved land they didn't improve" argument. But that's not valid. People have a right to live on their own land, on their own terms. Jews that come to live peacefully - as I think most Israelis want - have a right to that peaceful existence. Palestinians who want to live peacefully on their own land, with or without a nation, also have that right. These are the norms of international law. Innocent civilians do not forfeit their right to life and livelihood just because some group thinks they can use the land better, or don't recognise those rights of human dignity.

moreover those maps are based on pre-Christian times when the only monotheistic religion was Judaism. In the time since their dispersal, gentile muslim or christian arabs living in the so called wastelands did develop their own cultural identity among Jews who chose to stay, for several centuries before the arrival of the zionist settlers.

once again thomas81 and others like him ignore the fact that NOBODY WAS CALLING for an independent Palestinian state between 1948 and 1967. the palestinians are an invented people the PLO and rwcently an HAMAS MP said this they are no different from Arabs in Egypt and Saudi Arabia. stop this Israeli Aparthied terrorist propaganda. i said terrorist because this is what it sll about the destruction of Israela sovereign state and the killing of Jews. i repeat the Palestinians are an invented people they are no different from the oher Arabs in the region. stop regurgitating terrorist propaganda. your pecious arabs won't even allow the Fakesstinians citizenship in countries like Lebanona nd Kuwait. While Israel absorbed many refugees and give them citizenship and equal rights unlike your Arab terrorist states that enslaved migrants, stripped them of their passports and beat them. it is so bad that the Ethiopian government put out a waring telling women not to working in these terrorist racist yes racist they see blacks as abeeds (atab word for black and slave)

if Israel is wiping out the Fakestinians explain thier 30% population increase in the last decade

So, should all Americans who are not Native American now just go back to Europe? Regardless of the origins, the USA has existed for hundreds of years and most white Americans have never lived in Europe. If you don't think that they should all go to Europe, then why should Israeli jews leave Israel? Analogous to the situation with the USA, Israel is also there to stay, regardless of the origins.

This. Arguing that Israel came into existance the wrong way does not lead to a solution for the problem. If Israel did come into existance wrongfully (like most nations probably), it doesn't change the fact it has already happened and is not really reversible. There is no way all Israelis are going to leave... and go where exactly? My guess is most Israelis living today were born there.

"palestinian" common family names:

Just like "Saddam Hussein al-Tikriti" born in "tikrit iraq"
The family names(Nisbah نسبة) of Arabs who now occupy judea reveal their country of origin:
"Masri" OR "al-masri" =from Egypt ,Hamas member of Parliament in gaza, Mushir al-Masri (the word "masri" littelery means "the egyption" in arabic !).

"Khamis"= from Bahrain "Salem Hanna Khamis"
"al-ubayyidi" or "al-Obeidi"= from sudan "al-ubayyid"
"al-Faruqi"= Mosul iraq
"al-Araj" = Morocco,a member of the Saadi Dynasty "Hussein al-Araj"
"al-Lubnani" =the lebanese
"al-Mughrabi" = the Moroccan ("Maghreb" -- meaning "West" in Arabic, and usually referring to North Africa or specifically to Morocco) ,"Dalal Mughrabi"
"al-Djazair"=the Algerian
"al-Qurashi"=saudi arabia "clan of Quraish"
"al-azd" =yemen "Azd tribe"
"al-Yamani"= the Yemeni "Issam Al Yamani"
"al-Afghani" = the Afghan
"Al-Sidawi" = from "Sidon" lebanon
"Al-fayyumi" = from "Faiyum" egypt
"al-Hijazi" or "Hijazi" = present-day saudi arabia "Ahlam Higazi, a "Palestinian" artist from Hebron"

The Abu Sitta family primarily received this name because around the year 1700, a well known knight of the large Al-Tarabeen tribe always had six slaves (i.e. fedawyah, bodyguards), 3 on each side, with him. They were with him wherever he went, day or night. Hence the name "ABU SITTA." =Egypt (Bedouins) "Salman Abu Sitta "
"Nuba, Hebron" =founded by the "nuba people"
Even "Arafat", the most famous fakestinian and leader of the terrorist grup the P.L.O, is not native to judea. He called himself a "Palestinian refugee" and claimed he was born in jerusalem ! BUT spoke

"There is no "palestinian nation" !
when were there any Palestinians??? LOL
until the end of the 19th century, Palestine was the south of "Greater Syria" another resent invention.
there is only an arab nation !
the word "palestine" its self is a colonial invention used by the romans in order to erase the jewish identity of judea and israel.
even the "Palestinian National Charter" recognizes all the jews living in the region prior to the 1948 war as "palestinians" !
its an intellectual fad, divorced from the concerns of uneducated people"

-Zuheir Mohsen (Arabic: زهير محسن)- top p.l.o member responsible for damur massacre.

"The "Palestinian people" does not exist. The creation of a Palestinian state is only a means for continuing our struggle against the state of Israel for our Arab unity. In reality today there is no difference between Jordanians, Palestinians, Syrians and Lebanese. Only for political and tactical reasons do we speak today about the existence of a "Palestinian people".."

sephardic, you're arguing against a strawman. The national identity, or lack of does not justify Israel's behaviour in Gaza or West bank. Nor has it justified their behaviour in the arab territories since 1946. The fact is that arab families, spanning several centuries, owned the land that illegal settlers are now spreading onto. As i've said before, if you are to continue using the (lack of) national identity argument then by extension it exonerates the perpetrators of atrocities against the Jewish diaspora. You can't have it both ways.

and once again repeating terrorist fakestinian propaganda about Israeli behavior in the territories

stop ignoring the fact that there was no call for a Palestinian state between 1946 and 1967. th land was partitioned one for a jewish state the other for an arab state the arabs rejected red and decided to wage war against the new israel state they lost the war. and stop ignoring the fact that Gaza was part of Egypt and the West Bank was part of Jordan. none of those arabs in those places were calling for a Palestinian state. a straw man is misrepesenting your opponent views a common exmaples is thiests claiming athiests don't believe in nothing. everythign i said are based on FACTS not strawman arguments

. The fact is that arab families, spanning several centuries, owned the land that illegal settlers are now spreading onto.

Jews were on those lands CENTURIES before the Arab muslim conquests. before 1948 Palestinian was used to describe Jews living there if you bother to read the family names of the Fakestinians you notice they originated from OUTSIDE THE AREA.

As i've said before, if you are to continue using the (lack of) national identity argument then by extension it exonerates the perpetrators of atrocities against the Jewish diaspora. You can't have it both ways.

tehy are an INVENTED PEOPLE read the bloody quotes for once. they are from the fakes themselves they are are invented people invented for political reasons to fight against Israel and the Jews. their family names are NOT native to Palestine. Arafat is himself born in Egypt and lived in Egypt before Joining the fakestinian agenda. stop defending a terrorist agenda by terrorists calling themselves "Palestinians" a term originally directed in Jews on the land

I don't understand how you can take that assumption from what I said. Read my post at the bottom of page 3 please.

I am not saying people ought to be displaced from their homes because of how the demographics were 70 years ago, or 400 years ago or 3000 years ago. I am saying the opposite. Palestinians definitely exist, the question of their existence isn't part of any rational debate, they should not be treated like animals. For every one Israeli who has died in the last 20 years through terrorism, the Israeli army has killed 10 Palestinians and since they shell indiscriminately into civilian areas how can they claim the moral high ground?

It is wrong that newcomers are given more rights than the people who were there for the last thousand years and more, (and they aren't all Muslim either if that matters, if you visit Nazareth for instance most of the Arabs/Palestinians there are Christian, with the same lack of rights).

Israel is America's little brother, America supports it no matter how politically immature and violent it is. There is a correlation between how both states were formed, which is there for everyone to see. We can't right the wrongs of the past, but we can open our eyes, admit it is wrong to steal land from others and flout international laws, and stop doing it!
