Get the unsalted ones. And, for T-word's sake, check the ingredient list for partially-hydrogenated oils. And, don't eat too many.

My advice is to take them in small doses.

Just calling someone white isn't racist, just like saying that someone black isn't racist, it's just stating the facts. However, in a specific context calling someone a race could be racist.

It's like, you don't need to say White Santa or White Jesus, that's just Normal Santa® and Normal Jesus®.

I don't want to make anyone who feels uncomfortable more uncomfortable by calling him White; I want to make the comfortable people feel a little uncomfortable and question their assumptions.

Let me guess; it will be billed as a thinly veiled attack on Mexicans.

I was just thinking of the Taco Bell slogan "Run for the Border" and wondering what does happen to those truck loads of people that just vanish crossing the border.

No, but calling them "cracker" most definitely is.

Cracker? Never heard that word used outside of describing a biscuit you eat with cheese or to describing a stunningly beautiful woman.

It's a fairly common term in the US, typically used by blacks to disparage whites. On the other hand, natives of Florida and Georgia with roots going back into the 19th century take pride in referring to themselves as and being called crackers.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cracker_(pejorative)
"Cracker, sometimes white cracker or cracka, is a derogatory term for white people,[1] especially poor rural whites in the Southern United States. In reference to a native of Florida or Georgia, however, it is sometimes used in a neutral or positive context and is sometimes used self-descriptively with pride."

I don't know if I am ever going to make it to Georgia, Alabama or Florida but when I do I am going to walk into a bar that's filled with white men and go like; "Hey you bunch of crackers, does anyone know what time it is! " :P

That should fill them with pride and joy if you are correct.
