I am not retired and do not have hundreds of thousands in the bank. I am working my way up with two perosnal companies, a partner in another, a lower position in another and have a day job. One day not far now I might be a multi millionare but for now I am living with my parents again and working a mandatory overtime job in addition to my 4 other jobs that arnt paying(yet). There is absolutely nothing what so ever in Obamacare that helps people like me who would otherwise be on the streets if they didnt have their parents to mooch of off. The only thing I know about Obamacare is that my health coverage from my new job wont kick in for a few months and now I am worried that I might end up having to pay that moronic MASSIVE tax levy for not being insured.

I spent 80hrs/week working on my own projects before I started my regular job. I spend most of it on the computer and in the basement studio I built. Why in the hell exactly do I now have to have insurance or get hammered with another tax? Why do i HAVE to buy insurance if I dont feel it is right for me right now? You are so freaken clueless its painful. Do you have ANY idea how hard it is to scrape enough money together to pay for equipment and raw materials? How hard it is to expand and compete? No, you havent the foggiest idea in hell what its actually like. And yet you can the government can decide what is right for ME when it comes to how I live my life. Well F that all the way back to where it came from. When my buis take off ill be able to build my own personal hospital if I want to complete with helipad. But for now it doesnt freaken matter. I am right smack dab in the middle of doing what it takes to go from being needy to being wealthy, I am doing EXACTLY what people in my position are supposed to be doing. I am at the impasse of not quite having enough but making it and be self sustaining. The only thing this sh** obamacre does is make it HARDER.

You are asleep and have absolutely no idea what in the hell you are talking about. This is so damn typical. I have yet to see an other person who is actually struggling to be happy about obamacare. You sound delightfully delusional.

Stop trying to feel good about your self thru government programs. Yes you feel so proud that this is happening, it makes you feel good doesnt it? Well good for you, the reality is complete crap. Heath costs are skyrocketing and the insurance from the exchanges is a massive rip off. Alls it has done is kick me off the insurance I already had (again that my parents were helping me with) and now I am forced to buy something MORE expensive. Its a fraud. This idiotic feel good law of yours? It was WRITTEN by the giant insurance companies you moron. It was created the exact people you claim to be against. No, they dont actually care about you, they care about your money, and now they have made a law that says you have to give it to them.

Look, I am a complete hippie, a part of one of my companies is making tye die, but this phoney feel good BS is nothing but sheer stupidity.(I dont know a single hippie who is still stupid enough to like Obama and they all know OC is a joke) I dont care if you want to live in some make believe fantasy of stupidity, saying how the guy who drops bombs on children's heads is "saving lives" but if you do it at my expense were are going to have some extremely serious issues you and I.

And in terms of statistics..there is cost-benefit involved..

And the inconvenience of the few does not pay for the suffering of the majority...

Sure, Johnson lost the south for the Dems but as it was for the sake of civil rights, it was morally worth it. As for Vietnam - that was a clusterf*ck in the making even before he got to the Presidency.

Yes, but during the Johnson administration it escalated but to no avail. You can't escalate like that to fight communism over there without at risking direct confrontation with the USSR and/or China. Either commit totally or leave things like they were before.

As for what I think of Obama; I am happy that poor american's have slightly better healthcare than they would have under a Republican administration, although the TPP seems to undermine that agenda. It certainly undermines it for us...

Well, at least LBJ gave us Medicare. He may have killed millions of people in South East Asia, but millions of elderly and disabled Americans have a new lease on life.

While LBJ's legacy might be mixed, as Vietnam becomes farther and farther away in our historical rear view mirror, the magnitude of his achievements with the war of poverty, Medicare, and civil rights legislation will be what's remembered in the end. And that's how it should be.
