A Good God would not send a decent Atheist to hell.

if i didn't believe water exists, i could still drown. so if heaven is real, unbelievers can be affected. reality is not affected by beliefs.

That's true. I'm wondering why someone would believe in Heaven, though, and not believe that God exists. I don't get that. My other thought would be why would a person think they would go to Heaven (God's house) if they didn't believe the owner of the house existed. A lot of Atheists I've run into believe in nothingness after death which makes sense to me. I just don't understand how a person can believe in one without the other. Who made Heaven if there isn't a Big G?

at least so far that particular fundie mindset is confined mostly to America, something for the rest of the [non-mohammedan] world to be thankful for.
