I am watching trumps speach, 1-7-16, 7:35 eastern.
I am winning. Rand Paul lost. They all lost. I AM THE ALPHA MALE! Who will pay for the wall? They will! They will! The crowd chants!
No substance, appeal to primitive emotions not rationality!
The guy (trump) knows how to talk to sheeple!
No plans, no ideas, just propaganda for the sheeple!

Trump will win the Republican nomination. However, intelligent Republicans know that that will be a disaster for them. The dem that gets the dem nomination will win against trump. Over 50% of Americans say that they will be embarrassed if trump becomes president. Hillary (UNFORTUNATELY ) will get the dem nomination. Sanders draw more people to his rallys then trump. Any mention of that on the news? NOPE! Wasserman (head of the DNC) is pro hillary. That is why there are so few debates and on footbal night, right before Christmas etc. Also Sanders WON every debate against hillary. The objective criteria is that over 85% of those viewing the dem debates said Sanders won. Was that on the news? Nope. The DNC,and the media are controlled by wall street!
If everything was a fair fight Sanders would win, big time!

And yet place does matter. Can you tell me the difference between a public street in America and a privately owned website?

The more important issue is what they have in common.

Nope. That's an evasion, as I'm sure you're well aware.

But governments can (and do) restrict access to information on the internet - and beyond.

Here's a question for you.

What's the point of unheard speech?

Does such a thing exist? All speech is 'heard' by at least one person.

Assuming you mean 'unheard by any but the speaker', then reassurance of self would be one purpose.

This is so silly! By this criteria, Nazi Germany, Stalinist Russia had free speech. You could insult Hitler, and Stalin if you made sure no one heard you,

You do realize that the FBI among other government agencies already "polices" the internet and take over hundreds of websites it declares illegal every day for things ranging child porn, illegal gambling, copyright infringement, money laundering, whatever, it's not that crazy to treat ISIS and other Islamic Jihadists the same way. Shutting down the internet in territory controlled by ISIS makes sense if we are waging war against them, perhaps we should send all their modern electronics into the stone age permanently as well. We should seize their assets and we should destroy their oil infrastructure, we have to stop the flow of money from state sponsors of terror like Turkey and the Gulf States to ISIS to have any chance of success. If we are to fight this war then we cannot fight it with one hand behind our back, Islamic extremism should be treated the same way we treated Nazism after WWII.

All this involves criminal activity, not free speech.

Well, it really depends on what they're doing. If they're actually plotting attacks, sure, let's shut them down.

Sure, we could and maybe should do this, but what's to stop an ISIS agent from setting up shop in Europe or North America, or just hosting a site there?

In spite of what you might think, we're already doing a lot to cut off funding. Actually destroying oil infrastructure is a stupid and short sighted thing to do. Also, NOTHING to do with free speech.

Umm, you mean tolerated and criticized? Because that's how Americans deal with bad ideas/ideologies.

No, it's very simple; Trump is popular because people hate him. The reason why he's got the highest vote is because people are sick of oversensitivity and every ounce of hatred poured towards him counts towards his favour, not against it. The hard truth is that people need to get used to the fact that he isn't so PC as the rest of culture has been for the past, say, three decades or so. If they don't, he'll become more popular, because their uproar versus his campaign only demonstrates further the malignant tendencies of the thin skinned far left who can't possibly accept any degree of criticism or controversial suggestions.

I'd be scared with Trump in the President's Chair.

He has no credibility in the international community. That scares me.

Unless he hires decent people for his Cabinet and his advisory boards, I'd be shaking in my boots at a Trump Presidency.

I'm not a registered Democrat, by the way. I'm a registered Independent.

I'd rather have a guy like Bloomberg than a guy like Trump occupying the President's Chair.

Trump is plain spoken.

Compared with the experts at speaking with a forked tongue, who sometimes show up with no jacket, tie, and sleeves rolled up. Which is a political image of what American workers are supposed to look like.

Trump has one story, we have not had a strong Republican running for a long time.

Ike threw out the Wetbacks, built the American Autobahn, rebuilt Europe, and paid off the WWII debt.

He had no background in politics, but he did have those who opposed him shot. He got things done.

Trump is running against the Republican Party, low energy losers who claim to be Republicans, The Media who are dishonest, and the neglect of our National Laws.

He is motivating the Republican Base who hates what the Party has become. If Romney had gotten a 5% higher republican turnout he would have won. That takes clear and simple ideas, tell the Mexicans to go home, and do not let ISIS come in. Build a wall is a shovel ready project that will kickstart jobs.

Remember Obama? He said he had shovel ready jobs but they never happened. He just shoveled money into Goldman Sach's bank account.

The low energy losers are not being a problem, the Republican Leadership would lose the Party if Trump does not get the nomination now. Trump is well on the way to goal one.

Goal two, beat the Democrats, will be easy, Trump will get high turnout, he also plays well with Hispanics, Blacks, Women, and a quarter of Democrats will vote for him.

Trump does not have to change his platform to win the general. Illegal immigration and jobs, are the main concerns of America. There are many other things that need to be done, but rewriting the tax code puts people to sleep.

I saw a new one, he worked a crowd about America being a Christian Nation. It does not matter if they follow a particular faith, just that they do not identify with being Jewish or Islamic. While most Americans do not go to church, they did at least once. They are default Christians, the best kind.

He had that crowd on its feet yelling and screaming, in the best of Revival Preaching.

That will sweep the polls, and neither Hillary or Bernie can work a crowd.

Identify the concerns of the people, unify them through what they hold in common.

My preference is Rubio but if it has to be Trump I really hope it's Trump vs. Sanders. It'll be a brash no-filter brass tacks guy against a 'I don't hide behind the term liberal - I'm a socialist and I call myself a socialist'. Could be intensely educational for the country.
