Hillary isn't as bad as she's made out to be. There has been a steady stream of attacks on her since the 90's. It's practically inevitably that some of those attacks will sink in whether or not they're true. There's the old quote "a lie can go halfway around the world before the truth even gets it's boots on."

Hillary is a hell of a lot better in office than she is campaigning. Just look at how well she handled the republicans during there eleven hour Benghazi witch hunt. According to a cursory google search she was the eleventh most liberal member of the senate. And you're right Feyokien, Bernie and his supporters are pushing Hillary to be more liberal and an overall better candidate. Either way we can't let a Republican win when the Supreme Court is in play.

I'm voting for Bernie on the 15th but I'll be more than happy to vote for Hillary should she win.

I'm not worried about Trump getting in. I think either Democrat will beat him. But given the choice of Trump or Cruz in the white house, I'd take my chance with the Donald. As I stated in another thread, if by some wierd chance Ted Cruz gets elected this fall, I'm out of the US period, hopefully to the UK, where I've already taken Oaths of Allegiance to.

I'm with you there. She's probably very competent, and so what if she bends the rules sometimes, that's what the Bush years were all about, and no Republican objected then.

I don't fully agree. Though i agree with the sky is falling notion from trump's followers. Many comments and posts refer to this being the final chance to 'save' america. So, I actually have concerns about trump, win or lose.

Win, welcome to germany era 1930's with a splash of "good old" america 1950's and 1850's. With the added benefit of further destabilizing other countries, increasing world hatred of america, increased us military actions, and increased actions against america(ns) (he promotes intentionally killing wives and *children* of suspected terrorists?!?! Wtf!)

However, if trump became the rep candidate and lost, as delusional as trump is, he will go on about the election being a farce. The media lied about the results since they're all out to get him (except for when they say he's winning polls, then they're totally reputable), the election was rigged (e.g. iowa) and so on.

And his blind, angry followers who, no matter how many things he says are proven as lies, believe his every word and act upon it. The followers that happily declare that someone using their right to free speech by protesting -their- candidate, deserves to be physically beaten (while proclaiming love of the constitution in the next breath), do what? Be it with implicit, or direct consent from trump, how many of them feel it is now their duty and the time to make use of the second amendment and take action against the deceitful "elite" powers that be?

The only thing i think that would give that a happier ending is trump's intense love of money and love of himself. He knows that if the country goes into complete chaos due to his followers taking matters into their own hands, his finances will decay. Thus he may be more likely to reel them in and directly condemn such actions (as opposed to his usual 'gee that's bad, but my followers are passionate. They love this country. It's a great thing and amazing to watch.'..usual trump doublespeak). However, he also adores power and his underlying love of money is the power it gives him.

So yes, he may lose an election - and lose fairly; but i'm not so sure that will be the end of it. I hope it would be; but the longer his encouragement of violence continues and escalates, the less sure i am that it will.

How many of these many Trump threads that we've had have we seen the left wailing and wringing thier hands over that terrible Trump and all the awful things he does and will do if elected?

Ferguson was started by a corrupt police force.So you think we go around with gas jugs setting family business on fire?Our side didn't start any fires,some idiots did.It wasn't just looters and burners at the scene,some protested peacefully.
