Remember you said that when you lose your SSI as part of Trump's war on "waste fraud and abuse."
Everybody knows that people with "invisible" disabilities are just faking it to cheat the government.
I don't know about that, I'm not a fraud and certainly not abusing anything, I suppose they could rationalize it's a waste for people with invisible disabilities to be on it.
I think that that is his point.
I guess, just suppose I don't know what to do with said point....
I meant the first part: that you're not a fraud, and not abusing anything.
Which would mean...that it would be wrong to treat you as if you were that and cut off your SSI.
So a candidate (dont know if he would, but lets say he would) is going to do that to you then it would be imperative for you to vote against him by voting for the other person. That's what the ballot is for.
Well then that would make me a one issue voter, also there is no guarantee voting for Hillary would ensure a continuation of SSI for people like me either. What is her plan with the trend of marijuana legalization in this country....does she support it or would she like to increase the war on drugs policies and bring back prohibition. Also I don't really back her or the democrats on their denial of second amendment rights to people on disability and medical marijuana patients for instance. At the moment I am still thinking not voting for either of them. Also whilst it might be hoping too much that Trump actually means getting rid of real waste and fraud within disability/welfare...that might not be a terrible thing and could benefit people on it who need it. Of course he could just mean do massive cuts to it which would be harmful to many.

Trump has gone out of his way to say he wouldn't cut Social Security or Medicare
That's why when Trump becomes president it is imperative for Democrats to be eager to work with him as he is someone who negotiates and horse trades while valuing personal relationships. There are a lot of things Trump believes that maybe someone like Ted Cruz doesn't so don't make Trump dependent on the Ted Cruz's of the world to pass legislation since that is who you are really empowering.
Trump said he would save social security by getting rid of all the waste fraud and abuse. The GOP narrative is that most people on disability don't deserve it. Trump is going to save social security by cutting people off.
That's his policy.
There is a lot of real waste, fraud, and abuse in the government you know? Saying he's going to cut people off is not based in any truth, I would not be worried unless you actually were a fraud. A lot fraud and the most agregigous does not happen on an individual level, there is a lot of different forms. Trump has said quite clearly on many occasions that he will not be making cuts and has defended these government programs. Like I said, if Democrats work with Trump then the zealots in the GOP like the Ted Cruz's won't be able to force concessions like the ones you fear.

Dude, here's the clip in context. He talks about "waste, fraud, and abuse" at about 2:10...
There, he's specifically talking about old people on SS, But, if they're going to question people for being too old, you can bet they will be VERY skeptical of anyone with a disability that doesn't show up on an x-ray or MRI...
PS
A few other observations... If Trump offered Pence the same deal he offered Kasich, Trump won't be running the country--Pence will. That might be a good thing considering how incoherent Trump is in that clip. But you can bet, Pence would cut the OASDI system to the bone if he could.

I would have preferred Bernie. But it was not to be. Not that I share Bernie's politics, but of all the contenders he was closer to be human than all the others. Hillary is no bargain as we shall all see in due course.
If she does win (I think she will) it will remove the sexual barrier to the office. But that is no guarantee of getting a good President. We got Obama. He turned out to be a dud. Hillary will almost certain turn out to be a dudess.

You are making false assumptions on what is meant about that phrase and actually being too old aka dead and collecting benefits is a problem for what it's worth. SSA reports that there are like 6.5 million active SS#'s for people aged 112 and older, I don't think that's correct! Trump said he wouldn't cut Social Security, he was very outspoken about this and there is no realistic way they can 'purge the rolls' of one kind of disability. Now would he like to find a way to get people off disability and working? Probably but just because someone is disabled doesn't mean they don't want to work because it's not that much of a life, for what it's worth go check out the position of the Clinton administration in the 90s had who literally ran on "ending welfare as we know it." Is there that much a difference? I'd say Trump definitely uses softer rhetoric than Bill did in the 90s.
Also that 'deal' is a myth, who honestly believes that? Who might have an interest in pushing a story like that, it couldn't be the biased media and butthurt Republicans like say John Kasich or Ted Cruz who want position themselves to run later?
Trump isn't beholden to the lobbyists or the special interests, once he's elected he doesn't even need the Republican party as the base is much closer to his views than someone like Ted Cruz. He'll have the bully pulpit and it will become Trump's party, he's always been a populist and that is the future of the GOP not the old crotchety farts. Capital is concentrating in the Democratic party, the Clinton machine controls the party from the highest levels and I think her pick of VP kind of shows you how much she thinks she needs all the so called 'progressives' like Bernie Sanders. The GOP will change long before the Democrats ever will as the base of the Republican party has little tolerance for the leadership of the party and are willing to elect who they want as president not the pick that they say will be the easier path to victory.
I hardly follow politics, so I still don't know that much about either Clinton or Trump. Looking from my own aspie point of view, I can at least appreciate Clinton's supposed autism plan (for now). Trump on the other hand, with his vaccines "theory"...
Personally, I think that Both Mr. Trump and Ms. Clinton should step down so that we can find a couple of candidates that are more mainstream - this "Lesser of Two Evils" crap is wearing thin.

check out the rigged system against Bernie, DNC wanted to smear his Jewish heritage and paint him as an atheist
Trump is saying what he thinks people want to hear. Also, it stands to reason that the DNC would back the person who had the best chance of winning the election--understandable thet should have stayed neutral.

Trump will say whatever he thinks will get him elected. Next he will be saying how immigrants are really great people once you get to know them

Even if he is elected (and fascists have been already been through the world at present and historically)... I really hope the International Criminal Court keeps an eye on him and prosecutes him like any African dictator if he commits similar acts of carnage... and if ex postfacto the worst (in neo-Nazi ideals) is realized then an equivalent of the Nuremberg trials should be set up once again and I hope any of his cronies who indulge in their sadism are hunted down like Nazis were in Argentina...
