Socialism won't stop you from being an underachiever. Only you can do that.

Unregulated capitalism leads to elite individuals being in charge as well, with the masses living short, brutal lives to provide wealth to said elite individuals. Capitalism only works for all when government regulation keeps those elites from killing us with their shoddy products, hazardous working conditions, and the poisoning of the environment. That, and the workers being able to organize in order to grab the elites below the belt and twist hard, in order to force said elites to share in the wealth.

Yes.

I wasn't condoning capitalism, I was condemning socialism.

If one is bad that doesn't make the other good.

Fair enough. The best system has characteristics of both socialism and capitalism.

This shouldn't be political, since capitalism is a monetary system, but capitalism is entwined in politics and I'm very very very anti capitalism. Capitalism is a exploitative system that does far more harm than good.
And how do we do that?

You're a good example actually lol. You have spent so much time defending that neo Nazi on here but I've yet to see you talk about police brutality and anti black racism.

Watch me in some of my other threads. I am actually quite lefty. Of course Black racism etc. is terrible and I do not condone it but thing is what good does punishing Spencer do?

Ask yourself that and think hard. And if he wants a better world how can he be considered a bad person?

If you don't talk about racism you're a racist!

Of course I expect someone from New Zealand to know just as much about issues facing African Americans as someone from the United States!

/sarcasm

Seriously, is police brutality common in New Zealand?

Yeah, I am also 16 so think of me as someone who doesn't know everything.

Police brutality is not common but their is an anti-police culture amongst many people.

There's been a few in PPR who have suggested that being 16 means I don't know anything. But I've found in a lot of cases I'll come across someone in their 40-50's who says basically the same things I say. The latest one was Piers Morgan talking to Bill Maher. He sounded just like me lol.

Yeah I agree being 16 is certainly not always an indication of knowing less. I think that since many aspies have an an intense interest in politics and current affairs they might end up knowing more than the average person.

Capitalism is like a soaring aircraft without pilot. Human beings don't have control. We are spiralling towards disaster (in case the Gs haven't killed you yet).

The government won't save us -nor will a new one. Government is part of the problem.

Being 16 myself, I find that some, though definetly not all, adults sometimes forget how capable THEY were at 16.
