No matter what stupid things conservatives do or think in reaction to what Griffin did, the fact remains that what Griffin did was beyond stupid.

The best strategy is to continue to allow Trump to shoot himself in the foot (through tweets). And don't do anything back!

Why would ISIS want to kill Trump? He's helping them!

That's another reason why it was stupid. In an extreme reaction, it can even make Trump a martyr of some kind.

Trump's bloody head is being used in anti-Democrat attack ads to characterize liberals as looney.

As can be clearly seen they have been given mountains of material to use as ammunition to very easily characterize liberals as completely looney. This is just one more choice piece. And it's only been 6 months. I'm sure there is much more to come. I think the damage that's been done to the Democrat party is huge. Trump should send a thank you card to Griffin and others like her and the ones to come. They're likely going to get him and many other republicans re-elected.

To me that just sounds plain looney. I'm not a Trump fan. He hasn't done much of anything so far to make me cheer for him and has done things that have made me facepalm.

But a Hitler monster who will destroy civilization? That sounds like completely over the top crazy talk to me. And as a result most anything I hear from liberals agaist Trump, I figure is an overexaggeration at the least. It just makes liberals look like kooks to others in my opinion.

Basically, Trump wants to be the CEO of the company known as the United States.

He tends to listen to "alt-right" types too much; I don't think he's "alt-right" himself.

He also listens to people who are less radical---like his daughter and son-in-law.

He is not a student of history, of science, or of international relations. He makes himself look like a fool in the world arena.
