You probably do meet a few of them but in real life, they put on a mask.

I feel Lost Dragon gave an excellent account of the pitfalls of bitterness.

Amazing for such a young person.

I saw "Black Lives Matter" quite a few times on the streets. And, well, Damore was kicked out from his job by some very real life people.

I work for the NYC courts and I talk with judges and lawyers—many of them female.

I never had one of these women get mad if I open a door for them. I even blow kisses at a judge—and she winks at me.

Yes, it was an exceedingly well thought out post...
We need more Lost Dragons in the world...

What an unpleasant comment.

If you cannot emotionally deal with people holding different views to you then maybe Internet forums are not for you.

Au contrare, monsieur...
Forums are precisely the place to be if one wishes to engage in verbal fisticuffs...
Far, far less likely to end up being skewered with a screw driver in a rage incident...
Of this I am convinced...
Au revoir...

How old are they? It’s usua younger women with the feminist attitude of dont open doors for me. Older women are more traditional and flirty.

I think we need to work on male issues and eliminating male stereotypes. A lot of work has been done on female issues and stereotypes while ignoring male issues and supporting male stereotypes. That’s not equality. And talk of but women had it worse in the past doesn’t help. That’s eye for an eye talk. And that just leaves everyone blinde. its a repeating cycle of revenge and getting one over on the other.

Much like some black people want to enslave whites to make up for the past. Then the whites will rise up and want to enslave the blacks to make up for their enslaved past. Such thing doesn’t work and leads to a long history of violence thst neither side knows why it started.

I think we’ve reached a point where we can work on equality for both men and women, not just women.

a) I just pointed out the facts
b) Your personal belief isn't the universal truth that other people must accept as given
c) And now you're calling me names just because I pointed out the a) and b)
d) Apparently, the only person here who is having emotional problems with people holding different views to you is you

People might be interested in this audio interview.

https://www.thisamericanlife.org/220/te ... /act-two-0

It's about a woman who started taking testosterone in order to transition and subsequently gave up on ideas of feminism and gender equality. Lots of discussion about male libido etc, but this part was interesting:

Something that happened after I started taking testosterone, I became interested in science. I was never interested in science before… I'm serious...I found myself understanding physics in a way I never had before.

Define gender equality.

Humans are a sexually dimorphic species with a patriarchal bias so I don't believe equality in everything is possible.

I took a brief anthropology course and apparently patriarchy is not a given among our species.
Here's a somewhat recent article...
