WrongPlanet, and us folks on it, probably aren’t even on the map as far as Trump is concerned. The FBI could give two craps about us. There are much bigger fish to fry.

But don’t make any blatant death threats to him or his entourage. Or against anybody, really. Don’t bring attention upon us.

I feel like you can taunt the man at will without undue attention. Millions of people are doing that online But don’t make threats.

I don't threaten him, but if something DID happen to the bastard I won't pretend to mourn him like I'm sure so many other Americans will be.

to borrow from clarence darrow- while i have never wished anybody any harm, i have read some obituaries with great pleasure.

Some people really become hypocrites at funeral time... and say things they don't really believe "Oh, he was such a wonderful guy - wouldn't hurt a fly..."

I do feel there should be at least some respect at such a time though. There was some open rejoicing and mockery when Margaret Thatcher passed away, which I feel was uncalled for and out of place. Mind you, the same lack of respect goes for that other bunch of hypocrites known as Westboro Church with their idiotic and insensitive demos at funerals, disregarding the people who have come to pay their respects.

strange that at funerals, nobody is a no-good bastard.

I wonder how many people mourned the loss of Hitler and Mussolini and were genuinenly sad about it?

As far as I'm concerned Trump is the worst president to ever happen to this country.

he's not taking especially good care of himself, his weight went up to 242 in the most recent physical. but i suspect his meanness is keeping him alive despite everything.

strongly suspect that if JFK survived, so too would have his younger brother, and teddy would have avoided Chappaquiddick altogether.

... people made to ‘disappear’ without any given reason

... prohibitions on even mentioning certain subjects

... arbitrary enforcement of unwritten rules

... everything you say must agree 100% with all ‘official’ statements and claims

For example, there is a website devoted to the fictitious world ‘Nibiru’ or ‘Nemesis’ — so dedicated, in fact, that members have been banished for correctly identifying photographs of stars, Venus, Mars and the setting sun after the website’s owner has claimed that they were ‘real’ images of Nibiru/Nemesis.

The thing about Trump that really scares me is that he may have already pathed the way for bigger monsters to take charge of this country long after he is eventually gone.

From what I understand, by the time Hitler committed suicide most Germans were too concerned with surviving the tail end of the war that Hitler had brought upon them. Though some members of the SS, the true believers, took their own lives because they couldn't imagine a world without Hitler.
Whereas in the Soviet Union, people in the gulags genuinely wept because they saw Stalin as their nation's father, and thought he couldn't possibly believe he could have known what was going on in those death camps. Many people on the Soviet streets also genuinely grieved. Those closest to Stalin in the Kremlin, who had been complicit with Stalin's crimes, had actually been happy to see the old bastard go, and then immediately started scheming about who'd be the scapegoat for that collaboration.

Some people act like America's already a dictatorship. Controlled by evil left wing or right wing despots, depending on who you ask. None of us would survive a week in an actual dictatorship.
