I tried and failed to identify the source of either of those quotes, but Communism per se does not pose a threat to today's Western society. There are so many worse things to worry about today.
The biggest threat to Western Society, in my opinion, is Western Society.
Western Society is what we Westerners make it to be.

The chinese diplomat in Australia made a thinly veiled existential threat to Australia, recently.
china also has been threatening Australia economically.
What you have said doesn't apply to us.

he labeled coronavirus as the "Chinese virus"
Wait, does that mean the virus have Chinese citizenship? That makes me wonder if it has residence permit? If not, it should be made to return home. Considering its behavior, it should be evicted!
Yes, the coronavirus is a chinese citizen.
The pandemic originated from Wuhan china.
Most people think it is an established fact.

Did they threaten to nuke you back to the Stone Age? That would be my idea of an existential threat.
Actually, in the 60s, the US threatened to do that to both Russia AND China. As an American, I can proudly claim that nobody beats us at that game.

We are at the front line.
We know when we are being threatened.
You, on the other hand, have nothing to fear, being the most powerful nation on earth.

Well in a world ruled by China, that wouldn't be true, would it?

Well, from the way some people in the US are acting, namely enforcing others to agree to what they say or do whether by peer pressure or economics, otherwise there will be consequences, it's seems that those folks may have been converted to communism, willing or not.
Oh, and if you want to know where I got the quotes from, here:

It looked ominous BEFORE this damn virus surfaced but by all accounts the whole world blames China for this pandemic and they will never forget it ..
Who’s gonna buy anything made in China now
Seeing how just about everything we use here in the US is made in China including medications and hospital equipment, I imagine a lot of people still will because issuing a boycott on Chinese goods will probably cause even more misery.

Trump has been encouraging the growth of manufacturing/industry, within America, for quite some time.
Most countries would/will be doing the same, within their own, as a result of the coronavirus crisis.

Yeah yeah Americans love their racist imbecile of a president, and also "a dragon is not a slave!"
Most things said about Trump being a horrible person and president are just covert propaganda.
