Authoritarianism
Regarding violence, that argument for, "You'll only look as bad as they are/stoop down to their level if you do the same (violence) in return - that is purely a moral argument to allow those in authority to encourage conformity and also to allow slavery. It is much like the argument, "Ignore those bullies and don't stoop down to their level". But in mine and most peoples' experiences, ignoring someone who is picking on you doesn't work. You need to retaliate, or they will keep hurting you.
Ignoring them, or signing petitions doesn't make a bully/narcissist go, "Oh no, all these poor people I hate anyway disagree with me. I'd better stop doing what I want now".

That wasn't my argument. I basically argued that violence is only justified in self-defense, i.e, when someone puts a gun to your head or physically initimidates you into doing something. Pre-emptive strikes are not 'self-defense'.
Case in point - I know my freedoms are being taken away and my doctors know that I have had encephalopathy from a vaccine, yet I have been told by my GP 'off-the-record' that the NHS is designed politically to give almost no-one exemptions, even when you have medical grounds to receive one. You can't be seen on social media flouting your exemption, otherwise the other slaves-to-vaccines will be inspired.
I have had to get my local member of parliament involved a year ago and am one of the few people who has influenced the direction of government in terms of my activism in fighting vaccine passports.
I have not had a single Covid-19 vaccine & have not been ill with a cold or anything like it since January 2020.
Actually, I had a bit of a cough in March 2020, but it wasn't anything serious & that was only because someone visited my country from the United States. She/he was coughing very close to me the whole time for 2 weeks and it barely had an effect.
Nobody has knocked on my door to rugby tackle me to the floor and give me a jab... yet.
I was super ill with every cold & virus imaginable until maybe 2015? It took 10 years from the last vaccine I'd had to get back to my regular, natural immunity, and from 2015 until 2020 I just had physical illness at the same rate as 'normies. And I mean that in terms of specifically having a cold or virus.
I have loads of other underlying physical illness that are 'standard' for me.
Yet since the pandemic began, my immune system has been almost perfect apart from my long list of underlying physical weaknesses. It's like magic.
