I didn't say it was sexual. In fact I said I don't care if it's considered sexual or not. I didn't say it criminal, either. That's not my point. I'm drawing attention to the double standard, and the fact that voters have a warped sense of morality.

If Trump did the same thing, it wouldn't be tolerated. People would have gone mad. CNN would call it sick and disgusting, or sexist, or perverted, or call him a pedophile.

I'm not defending Trump by any stretch of the imagination. They're both sick puppies as far as I'm concerned.

Surely someone on Biden's team could have / should have stopped him.

Didn't he have advisors?

Didn't people tell him it wasn't 1960 anymore?

Businessmen used to grab their secretaries by the ass --- around the same time.

Would that be OK now, too?

The Biden video. It's creepy. He's constantly voilating their personal space. and it's children, even worse.

"Hey baby how old are you?"

He keeps touching them, stroking them, even kissing, them.

Now if he was their grandfather, maybe I could understand it. Some families are very friendly. Touchy-feely.

But he's a stranger. A non-relative. That's what makes it creepy.

I view all situations by substituting the people.

Like I said before, would it be OK if it was:

Trump touching children in that way?
Trump touching women in that way?
Trump touching men in that way?
Anyone touching black children or adults?
Jeffrey Epstein touching .... anyone?

We all have the same bodily rights regardless of our age.

Creepy is as creepy does, and there's no excusing him just because of his age or perceived stupidity.

My grandmother has been aggressive huggy and stuff. But not even my mother, father, certainly not relatives I don't think were ever that grabby with me. Though they might have been at times. Very rare.

But the fact hes a stranger. I don't know anywhere, that would be deemed appropriate , culturally, by anyone. Even someone with as much prestige as that. It's still, "taking liberties," with peoples personal space. Atleast an adult, can resist. Children can be more, i guess pliant, more used to taking instruction from Teachers in school etc. Taking orders from adults at home.

My family wasn't touchy-feely. Not at all.

Even when I brushed my daughter's hair I didn't sit there stroking it or running my hands through it.

It puts shivers up my spine.

Just because most of those girls were pre-pubescent/flat-chested, it doesn't mean anyone's hands should go that close to their breast area. If they were women with someone's fingers on their chest, an inch from their nipple, people would freak out.

CNN was complicit in normalising Biden's behaviour, and voters decided it was no big deal because he was "BTT" or "Better than Trump". I can imagine close to 300,000,000 other Americans were also better than Trump.

I sincerely hope the Dems get it right next time and use more discretion when nominating someone for President.

Being a creepy Motherf***er is one thing, committing sexual assault multiple times is quite another. Biden is nowhere as bad as Trump, and there's nothing partisan about it.
By the way, Trump cheated on his wife with a porn star... after their child was born (he said she reminded him of his daughter). Biden on the other hand has been nothing but an exemplary family man.

Yeah, it has everything to do with being partisan. You'll always be an apologist for Dems, while I can call Trump a piece of s**t and Biden a piece of s**t.

Hey, I agreed his behavior was by most people's standards creepy, but that's nowhere near as what Trump is.
Besides being a sexual predator, Trump is a hateful racist, a crypto fascist, a misogynist, a science denier, has morbid Narcissistic Personality Disorder, is a sore loser, and is a whiney little b***h. Not a single one of those things applies to Biden.

I agree, but that still brings us back to "Better than Trump" mentality.

I'd hoped voters would raise the bar a little higher this time around.

Again, Trump is a wannabe strongman, and he pals around with our enemies (Putin, Kim, etc.). That alone makes him infinitely worse than Biden.
Sure, there are always other names on the ballot you can vote for. You're also free to flush your ballot down the toilet, which is what you'd be doing in our two party system.
But seriously, besides Biden being creepily hands-on, why would anyone want to choose a fascistic science denier, and populist rabble rouser like Trump over him?

I wouldn't pick Trump over him.
I've never said that. I've never voted Republican / Conservative.
I wouldn't expect anyone else to pick Trump, either. Especially the second time.
My point is that I wouldn't pick either one of them.
I couldn't in good conscience, vote for Biden after seeing those videos and hearing allegations.


It's not ideal but I'd have to vote for someone else.
I'd hope millions of Americans felt the same way, not wanting a creepy-toucher to be elected.


I don't really understand your electoral system, so please help me out.

How did Biden get to be the Dem nominee in the first place?
Was he elected by citizens in one of the primaries (is that the right word?), or was he nominated by the party?
Basically, why did it have to be him?
Weren't there other Democratic hopefuls who didn't do creepy things to children?
If he was the only Dem choice, I'd have to "waste my vote" and vote for a third party candidate.
