The problem dates back to the UN partition plan in 1947. I blame the UN for starting the mess, plus Israel for taking more land.

Zionism isn't quite what you're characterizing it to be. A Zionist is basically someone who believes in the existence of the state of Israel. Keep in mind Israel was formed a few years after the holocaust. Zionism has been around since the 1800s but it was the holocaust that kicked things into high gear. The Jews have been mistreated in the vast majority of countries they've ever settled in. Fun fact: There was more than one location floated around for the potential state of Israel. I believe the other major contender was in Africa somewhere.

Radical zionists are the ones you have to watch out for...they're just as bad as Hamas in theory, they hate the palestinians and believe Israel has a right to its complete ancient borders which encompasses parts of what is now Jordan and several other countries.

As an atheist , all these religious states ideologies (such as Umma and Israel) are ret*d and dangerous in the first place. This is how I see it.

Israel's existence and Zionism would be justified if the Palestinians were responsible for the holocaust. In turn, Israel is responsible for a holocaust of it's own.

Bear in mind, I completely support the right of Jews to settle in Palestine. I believe in complete freedom of movement. What I'm against is creating a colonist state, displacing a population, stealing their homes, killing a few stubborn ones here and there, sexually abusing their women, etc, and in the end, blame it on them.

I know a couple of Israelis. I like them, they're nice. One of them currently serves in the military, a border crossing guard. However, I don't like their government, and it's policies. I'm a supporter of the one-state solution which sadly has virtually no support.

Here is a neutral Israeli-Palestinian human rights website: http://www.btselem.org/English/

Back on topic. Yes, it's nice that children are showing their fury. Especially after what crimes have been committed against these helpless kids. I have a lot of fury inside me myself, and I wish to wipe the sovereign entity called Israel off the map of this world, as all peaceful negotiations failed in 1947. All negotiations after that were just to extend time and the Palestinian question. No Israeli wants to lose Biblical Israel. Hence, violence is the only solution, when all else fails. We were victorious during the crusades, it took us a hundred years, and it won't matter if it takes us two hundred this time. But we shall win, Inshallah. However, Jews and Muslims will not be able to enjoy the peace and prosperity that was shared during the Caliphates, when Muslim monarchs sheltered all Jews who were being persecuted in Europe. We've been back stabbed by these Zionists. Why must we suffer for European crimes? How many Jews did we kill in Nazi Germany? Yeah, in the end, it's all our fault. We're responsible for this mess, by placing too much trust on people our prophet warned us about.

Btw, I use the term "we" as proper Muslims consider themselves as brothers. Islam has no place for racism, nationalism, etc in any form.

Every Israeli I discussed with about Palestine had the "Oh...but we were the victims of Holocaust" attitude. Wtf?? Since when a massacre justifies another? Why the Palestinians should pay for it?

Why they didn't just take a small territory of Germany and made their sick state there?

Hey Ragtime I'm curious to know if you are a Christian Zionist?

You can say you’re not racist all you want but the problem is that “us vs them” mentality. Any religion that divides the world up into camps based on who God favors and who God sends to hell is evil to me. Indoctrinating children with blind hate is evil as well.

Hamas is not advocating child murder, and you can't accuse them of that simply because they are being raised to hate a President who has built the largest legacy of incompetence in American History.
I'm pretty sure that there's a lot of Americans who would do the same if it wasn't against the law to criticize Bush.
Thanks for twisting a news story to serve your illogical neo-con pursuits.

What's next, ignoring record poll numbers that indicate the majority of Americans (and I mean a heavy majority) disapprove of the current administration and the path the country is going?

Oh, wait... Richard "What a dick" Cheney already did that!!

Why don't you take some other news stories and start calling for a blacklist of all Americans who don't side with neo-con rationale?
It'd certainly make McCarthy proud.

Israel's right to return to its God-given homeland has nothing to do with the Holocaust.

If you've ever read the Bible, you'll know that the Jews' original ownership of the land of Israel was "to be continued", so to speak, when they were originally displaced from it and dispersed into the rest of the world.

Khan_Sama wrote:

Oh, congratulations. Brownie points for you.

Why don't you just say the old racist cliché, "Hey, some of my best friends are Jews"?

So, now you've set yourself up with that little qualification as someone who now has the right to criticize and trash Israel?

Khan_Sama wrote:

Israel is perfectly happy to have non-exploding Arabs as contributing members of its society. Indeed, the Jewish Scriptures say, in Exodus 22:21, Thou shalt neither vex a stranger, nor oppress him: for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt. So Israel is supposed to welcome the stranger, and they practice that policy to this very day. Scripture does not say, however, that Israel should let the stranger bomb them, fire missles at them from land Israel freely gave them, or otherwise attempt to wipe out the Jews. Killing Jews is not allowed in Israel. Sorry. You must go to a Muslim country in order to legally do that.

Khan_Sama wrote:

The children are programmed from day one with single-source propaganda.
They are not allowed to hear any other side than the complete and total lie that Israel is the aggressor.

You do indeed. However, that is a matter best discussed between you and your psychiatrist. Not played out on the world stage in the form of encouraging those who perpetrate terror attacks and hate Jews.

Khan_Sama wrote:

See September 11th, please. Those 19 men were good Muslims, and died for the cause of Islam. (Which is to say they died in order to murder innocent foreigners.)

Hey Khan, why don't you tell us what a hudna is?
You know, the Koran's instruction to lie to your enemy with a phony offer of peace, in order to lull him into a sense of tranquility while you re-load to wipe him out?
That's Islam's foreign policy. The hudna.

That's why the Palestinians are always the ones to break the peace with Israel.
