Dawkins is the one-and-only scientist who criticizes religious people? :lmao:

You could point out a few others to me if you want. Dawkins is really the only one I've ever seen campaigning against religion. Really, most scientists aren't interested in some kind of anti-Christian crusade, as many of them are religious themselves. When will you get that through your thick skull?

Oh! Oh! I just thought of another famous scientist who openly admitted he didn`t like fundamentalists, and was an atheist - Richard Feynman. Bonus, he was also orginally Jewish.

I don`t know if he counts though. He`s dead now, and he was a physicist, not a biologist.

While we're straying across scientific fields in general, how about Steven Weinberg? There are quite a few that are quite critical of religion, in my experience, but most, whatever their beliefs, seem to avoid the topic, especially in public discourse.

I think someone mentioned James Watson (who has, for other reasons, become something of a pariah recently), and there's Francis Crick too. There was Carl Sagan. Then there are recently popular, less famous ones like PZ Myers, who might say things more offensive to the religious than any of those yet mentioned.

But Dawkins is probably the best known for criticism of religion.

Carl Sagan was critical of religion, but he wasn't an atheist. He was more of an agnostic; he saw "Spinoza's God" worthy of consideration (much like Einstein).
