That is why they keep people alive and ill as long as possible. Take Chemo for example, it can last for YEARS and is very expensive. Heart disease, cancer, diabetes, obesity, depression can all be long term illnesses that 'require' extensive course of medication.

IMO, the population will soon be slashed down to below a billion. It is reaching the end game, they now have such great control over us the games won't need to be played much longer, global control of money, food next it will be global government and military and then they'll start with the Nazi style eugenics.
Maybe first we will have another world war, then mass starvation or poisoning. This will be done through genetic manipulation and the withholding of nutrient rich foods. I think they have maybe made a grave error with GM though it is a pandora's box that will be hard to control, it will probably spell disaster for all life on Earth, even rich powerful people.
