What do you think the point of conservatism is? Guys like Raptor were once THE Establishment. But they are no longer part of it and they're extremely butthurt about it.

We were? I must have slept through that minute or two.

Quote:
They say big government is *eevil* because it protects the weak from the strong. They believe the strong should dominate the weak because that's part of the natural order of things which they believe is innately good. They use the catchphrase "cultural marxism" to dismiss scientific discoveries and and sociological data that undermines the myths which legitimize the social order and form the basis for societies rules[ see "Noble lies, deadly truths" by Leo Strauss].

Yes, we're really that terrible.
In fact, in my last life I was tried at Nuremburg and hung for crimes against humanity.

Bet you didn't know that...

I think that's because people (okay, liberals) don't seem to grasp Israel's precarious geopolitical situation. They're located in the Middle East, not the American midwest.

Depends on what about America is being criticized and why.

Don't hold your breath waiting for that to change with the kind of political polarization we have.

At this point, the only way a GOP candidate (even a moderate one) could win a presidential election is if they promise to get ride of all the Christians.

Israel's number 1 long-term problem is NOT Iran, or Hamas, or even ISIS/Al Qaida! It's Israel's economic dependence on the US and its European allies. The American rightists would like to keep it that way. And many Zionists are more focused on raising US funds for Israel than to address this problem.

Israel is not the 51st state. It's a sovereign nation that needs to focus on its economy and not just its military.

To win, they would have to top the Dems in terms of social liberalism. How do you top SSM, unrestricted and on-demand abortion, borders flung wide open before security issues have been adequately addressed? (Christianity is usually associated with deep opposition to those things)

These aren't my views in any way, I am merely pondering how the GOP can win in terms of social issues. The Dems set the bar very very high.

Why? I love Trump's anti-Muslim thing. He's protecting the country. The Muslims are trying to take over Britain. They want us to be like them. They get offended by our British cultural traditions. That's disgusting. Since when has Britain been a Muslim country??? If Muslims want to live here in Britain then they should respect our culture.

Sorry, but it's the truth.

There are over a billion Muslims on this planet. Do you really think they all believe the same thing? I mean they would have to if they wanted to take over Britain.

Well not every single Muslim, but the Syrian Muslims are intending to.

If it comes down to Trump vs Hilary, well....I might actually vote Trump. She can't win the office, I'm pretty sure of that. Doubtful that will happen though, as Sanders is going to win in the Caucus. Him and Trump both have the youth vote and we're coming out in power this year I think. Facebook is lighting up like a firecracker right now on people my age talking about the caucus.
